Our Daily Challenge: I Saw it in the Yard!

Tom and I recently put a raised vegetable garden in Mom's backyard. I have to admit that I was a tad jealous. I said to Tome "wouldn't it be nice......" - boom! A raised bed is in the works for us, too!! Woohoo, thank you, Tom!

ENG: I found this little sign in the Lübeck Niederegger main house museum. If you keep your eyes open here, you can find a lot of detail loving little accessories. An example would be here still the elevator button, this is a small gold-plated marzipan chocolates.

Our Daily Challenge: I’ve Had this for a very Long Time

Our Daily Challenge: Broken

Another shot in my endeavor to take better pics withy iPhone. On this one I used two Litra Lights, one camera left set at 15% power slightly behind subject and one camera right at 25% power slightly behind the subject. I also shot this in RAW with the Halide App. Not perfect, but much better than I ever expected to capture with my iPhone.

Actually found this for the first time in my life, then verified by our local expert Barry Web from Gerrards Cross Camera Club.

Slime Mould has quite a few followers and some interesting YouTube videos about it.

No idea which sort this is but pretty happy to capture in with my iPhone 11, helped by a LED light to the lower left as was on the underside of a large log - fallen tree.

My limited understanding is Slime Mould likes dark warm damp locations. The size of these are very small units, very hard to spot unless you get down on your knees and slowly look around.

Strongly recommend watching the video if you have 10 or so minutes to spare as is quite an eyeopener into nature.

See how slime mould is highly intelligent and replicated the Tokyo Rail Network - details in the video !!!

Thanks Barry for the mini workshop (due to Covid-19 restriction's) today -brilliant.

We landed in Minneapolis and headed over to Edina to visit some elderly relatives of mine. As we entered their neighborhood we both said, "Wow, this looks so midwestern." On the way back out of the neighborhood I had to stop and get a photo. By the way, the kid lying on the street was just horsing around.
