Our Daily Challenge:The Flickr Lounge: In a Row
Today we took my 95 year old Mother in Law to get her first Covid shot. My husband went in with her while I waited outside. I was the driver and dropped them both off and picked them up. It went very smoothly.

Dogs Are A Man(Go)'s Best Friends - IMRAN™
Having been born and raised in Pakistan, but having traveled the world, I know that the mangoes from Punjab in Pakistan are literally the kings of all fruits from anywhere on the planet. Knowing that how could I not introduce my precious new German Shepherd puppy K2 to that fruit? Kennedy had previously had it while being with me. As you can see, K2 was totally into it, when he had been with me one week. The wet doggy bed is from his having been in the swimming pool earlier. Kennedy and K2 both enjoyed their first tastes. Both decided that German Shepherd Dogs Are A Man(Go)'s Best Friends.

A selfie!!! Happy Anniversary to Us! I was widowed in 2008 after 26 years of marriage and 32 years of togetherness at the ripe old age of 53. At the time I thought that the happy part of my life was over and that I would spend the last of my days as a witness to other people’s happiness.Tom and I met a few years later and married nine years after Jay’s death. We just returned from celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary. I have been blessed two times with love!

Sonrisa Grill at Lake Las Vegas Village. iPhone 11 Pro Max and Specter App. shot with 9 second exposure.
It has been a long journey, but tomorrow escrow closes on my Mom’s home. I am mostly relieved, but am also a little sad. Mom lived there from 2006 - 2022 and Jay’s mother lived there 2000 - 2005. There are a lot of great memories I take from that home. A new couple will start to make new memories in this house. I wish them joy and happiness.

Closed StarGate Opens Portal To Sun Through Gnarly Tree's Branches In Backcountry Florida - IMRAN™
There have been many times in my life when I was driving down a road or highway and caught a sight which I have literally pulled over or driven around to go back and photograph. Many other times that has not been possible, especially on busy winding roads or especially on fast moving expressways. As I explored a previously unseen part of rustic Ruskin, Florida, this fairly cool Sunday on the first of March in 2020, out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw light from the setting sun seem to backlight and aged trees appear to frame a dilapidated gate on an otherwise mundane backcountry piece of land.
I had to do a three point turn on the narrow but desolate road. I stepped out of the car, with Kennedy, my trusted German Shepherd and fellow traveler, watching from the reclined back seat and wondering why I could put my mark (at least on the photo of) the spot and he could not do his own version of marking territory on the gorgeous gnarly tree, the rusty gate, the aging posts, the glowing grass, and the fallen leaves.
Look closely, and you will see how much of a 3D effect this simple 2D photo looks. I created it by taking 5 iPhone 11 Pro Max photos to maximize the detail in this panorama, which I reduced form 260MB to 23MB to make it manageable and shareable.

Despite few direct hits from thunderstorms this June, the 3rd impressive shelf cloud moved through Cheyenne. At the beginning of the time lapse, you can see me heading for a climb up the hill in my backyard and then later on the ridge.
I stayed as long as I could before the severe thunderstorm hit with winds up to 70 mph, soaking rains, and lots of lightning.
It was worth the effort as noted by the quick real-time scan of the horizon.

Daring Puppy - K2 First Hour Home In Florida First Time On The Beach - IMRAN™ (Part-2)
K2 continued to explore his first day home, which was also his first day beng in Florida, being on the beach and anything related to the sea. Kennedy's reactions were interesting to see. He was both observing, keeping an eye out for the puppy, but also trying to keep his personal space he loves but which iK2 almost always finds a way to invade.
