The "Mother Spring" feeds dozens of primitive, rock-lined hot mineral water soaking pools located along the banks of the San Juan River that flows through the center of the town of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. These hot springs are free of cost and open to the public 24 hours per day. The Mother Spring also feeds developed, private soaking pools at three locations in town.
The Pagosa geothermal hot springs are located on the western slope of the Continental Divide. The sulfur-rich water emerging from what is called the "Mother Spring" has been measured between 110 °F (43 °C) and 144 °F (62 °C). The water originates from 6,000 feet below the surface from volcanic activity. This is claimed to be the deepest hot spring in the world.

3rd windy day that saw winds gusting over 60 mph. Winds were only gusting to 35mph at the time of this shot. It was difficult to hold the smart phone steady as noted by the house on the right.

ENG: The DB (German Railroads) class 483/484 consists of the manufacturer consortium Stadler Berlin-Pankow and Siemens for the suburban train Berlin. The class 483 refers to so-called quarter trains, consisting of two cars; the class 484, on the other hand, consists of half trains, consisting of four cars. The trains are scheduled to go into service from early 2021.
Since May 2020, a new suburban train with a total of six coaches has been running through Berlin and Brandenburg with colorful stickers, greeting its future passengers with slogans such as: "It's me - your new one" or "I'm still in the trial period". The endurance test is designed for 40,000 kilometers with a planned daily mileage of 800 to 1,000 kilometers. As can be seen here, for example, the #NeueSBahn pre-series vehicle 484 003A.
Introduction to the Berlin suburban train network:
Status: 01.11.2020
1.) A first practical test will start in January 2021. The first ten pre-series vehicles will be tested in regular passenger service on the S47 Spindlersfeld - Tempelhof / Südkreuz (-Bundesplatz).
2.) From July 2022, additional vehicles will be used on the S46 line between Königs Wusterhausen and the main station.
3.) From October 2022, additional vehicles will be used on the S8 line between (Wildau-)Grünau and Hohen Neuendorf.
4.) Between April and October 2023, the two-stage commissioning of the new S-Bahn trains on the S41 and S42 ring line is scheduled.

GER: Die DB (Deutsche Bahn) Baureihe 483/484 besteht aus dem Herstellerkonsortium Stadler Berlin-Pankow und Siemens für die S-Bahn Berlin. Seit Mai 2020 fährt eine neue S-Bahn mit insgesamt sechs Wagen bunt beklebt durch Berlin und Brandenburg und grüßt ihre zukünftigen Fahrgäste mit Sprüchen wie: „Ich bin’s – Deine Neue“ oder „Bin noch in der Probezeit“. When I see altocumulus clouds near sunset, I'm usually in for a treat. This evening was no exception! A change in the weather (return to winter) is expected within a day after a week with temperatures reaching in the upper 50's to mid 60's.

This blue hour storm provided a few powerful lightning strikes that I slowed by a factor of 10 from my iPhone 11 Pro Max in video mode.
The first strike was epic! Yet the thunder was barely heard. Also note the bead lightning as it dissipated.

After a very unhealthy start to the day when the A.Q. I. reached 177, conditions gradually improved so that by sunset most of the smoke was at cloud level. Still, the smoke was thick enough to dull any hint of a fire sky. Well some fire colors did come through.
Amazingly, the sun still had 10 minutes to go before setting.

This fire sky lasted more than 30 minutes as it pulsed in brightness and color several times. High altitude smoke may have been a contributing factor.
Not a drop of rain reached the ground with humidity in the mid-20% range. However, thunder was quite frequent with lots of in-cloud lightning occurring overhead.

Beautiful altocumulus cloud usher in a nice fire sky. Contrasting colors and shades make this one a keeper.
This was an image captured before upgrading the iPhone 12 to IOS 14.3, which enables me to shoot in RAW format.
Fooled you! Looks like two suns rising this morning but actually the sun rose 10 minutes later. This is my first distinct double mocked sun. Since I am always on the look for these types of atmospheric optical effects, I suppose that it is very rare?
Our Daily Challenge: Beneficial Moments
So I was at Mom's this afternoon. I kept my camera in the car as the owls were present but there were lots of trees and limbs obscuring them. I had taken some clear shots earlier today. I joked with mom that as soon as I got home, she would call me that they were on her fence. She called about fifteen minutes after I got home. An owl was on her fence! I rushed down there, and indeed, one of the smaller ones was on her fence. I took some images with my real camera, but will not be able to look at them until maybe Wednesday. I did take this cell phone shot, and if you look dead center you will see him posing for me.

Difficult access into Enterprise rent-a-car at Wexham on the A412, even pedestrians would need wellingtons and hope no lorry would coming steaming along and soak them.
