It seems that the contemporary mind would have us believe that humanity does not belong on the earth...we are just parasites...that only choose to consume and control. It would be better to erase the face of humanity...and the world would be eden again. I disagree! The world is full of beautiful people...

The Lord made the world and made man in order that He Himself might descend into the world, that He Himself might become Man. When He regarded the world He was about to make He saw His wisdom, as a man-child, “playing in the world, playing before Him at all times.” And He reflected, “My delights are to be with the children of men.” The world was not made as a prison for fallen spirits who were rejected by God: this is the Gnostic error. The world was made as a temple, a paradise, into which God Himself would descend to dwell familiarly with the spirits He had placed there to tend it for Him.

Also known as "Showy Stonecrop," Hylotelephium spectabile is a hardy perennial succulent ground cover that blooms in the late summer and fall. This patch outside my mother's front door is green in the spring, then grows tiny white flowers that turn pink by late summer, and finally brown by winter. Pretty and low maintenance. One photo a day. (256/366) -- September 11, 2020
Having fun today just using the iPhone 11 Pro Max, Was out at Pensacola Beach Florida this afternoon where I captured this long exposure using iPhone Live View feature. Post processing via Adobe Lightroom Classic. Cheers

This outbreak lasted all day. More Timelapse of this event and a recap of recent fire skies can be viewed at: youtu.be/rBs0gtpGHn0
A few more from Didcot with Timeline with full access to the site virtually. Very photogenic location, could spend a lot more time in future.
Florida Home Neighborhood Beach Scene 3D - IMRAN™
I felt the picnic table and beach chairs at my Symphony Isles neighborhood’s beach would make a great 3D foreground for the sandy beach and stranded boat in the background. See it in 3D at www.facebook.com/MyIMRAN/posts/3935023123181316 . What do you think?

Beautiful Blue Blissful Beach Boating (SOOC iPhone Panorama) - IMRAN™
It was a stunningly beautiful blue and blissful beach & boating day when I took this handheld panorama photo with the iPhone 11 Pro Max. It is pretty amazing how good cell phone cameras have gotten.
Yes, you can notice the slight banding of two shades of water on the left and right side near the middle of the photo. The horizon may not be perfectly level, possibly due to my movement right to left to avoid getting the moving dogs and boat in the subsequent frames, which would either make them blurry or be erased by the algorithms.
But what a gorgeous day to capture. You can see various boaters in the channel heading in and one jet ski heading out past this neighbor's lot I was standing on.
No edit, no filters. Straight out of camera (SOOC) image. I merely added my name at the bottom right. Enjoy this moment of gratitude I am blessed to share with you and keep me in your prayers.

This is an unintentional reflection, but I like the ghostly apparition of my hair hovering over the flowers. I really wanted to open the refrigerator door to take a shot of the flowers (in the supermarket) but hadn't yet built up my nerve. One photo a day. (28/366 ) Bayside, New York -- January 28, 2020

Around lunchtime on Oct 23, the skies erupted with these non-convective mammatus clouds. Winds at the surface was light. An approaching weather front and associated jet stream must have created lots of turbulence aloft.
Taken with iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Somewhere (Here) Under The Rainbow - IMRAN™
It was actually a fairly clear and dry day when I took my German Shepherd dogs Kennedy and K2 for a quick drive.. They LOVE getting in the car, and I had not taken them anywhere in the car in a few days. So I literally just drove over to the next street over in my Symphony Isles neighborhood and came back home. They were still so happy because I think the experience of being in a moving vehicle is more important to them than the duration of the trip. Just as I was taking the turn away from my part of Symphony Isles Boulevard I saw this fairly "clear sky" rainbow seem to be dropping out of just a small single cloud. I pulled over so I could take this photo. You can see a boat of one of my neighbors on that canal side of the community.

Colors seem off this morning but are explained by wild fire smoke that lingered from yesterday's explosive expansion of the Mullen Fire some 80 miles to my west: www.flickr.com/photos/79387036@N07/50381103747/in/photost....
Our Daily Challenge: Fill the Frame
I started with three images of a fading rose. I masked out the background on each, made some additional copies, moved them around until I liked it. Then came the processing which I made somewhat painterly.

At 4.6x magnification, my iPhone 11 took a pretty good shot in a high dynamic range in contrast and color.
Our Daily Challenge: Phone
I didn't know what to do with this challenge. I brought up an image on my phone that I made for ODC almost nine years ago and the peacock feather that I used as a prop in creating the original image.

I’m traveling again, this time to the Philippines to visit family and friends who I haven’t seen in two years. On the day that I left San Francisco, the day was very gloomy and cloudy land side. But once we got to the top, oh my God - what a beautiful sight to behold. This is the first time I’ve seen this kind of backdrop when flying. Truly feeling blessed to have witnessed it.
