I don't think there's an English word for the lovely Norwegian word solvegg (directly translated, i solveggen means by the sun wall).
On a sunny day with cold wind, we can always find a place or corner without wind where we can enjoy the warming sun - and that's what we call solveggen ツ
This is from the highest point on Røvær island this weekend, at only 43 m.

Well it's March so whoop de doo 😂 currently still feels like January so no sign of Spring just yet unfortunately. I was torn about what photo to go with for the first of usual monthly check-ins, as although I love this dress (which I'd had my eye on for a while) I took some real nice ones last weekend in something else, which I likely prefer. Anyway those can be seen over on my Instagram account (plus loads of other stuff not posted on here) along with more of this particular outfit too. I'm also far more active over there (and a little bit more responsive to messages too) as other than the odd post I'm not really around much on here.

Like it? It's yours for the right price. If no one saves it, it'll be landfill when the building is purchased and bulldozed. I'd take it in a heartbeat, but it's far too large for my property. I didn't measure it, but I'd guess it's about 8 or 10 feet across, and somewhere between 15 and 20 feet high. A lot of the neon tubing is intact, but as far as I know, it's not working. I'm someone could restore it, if interested.
It'd be a shame to see it crushed and discarded.
UPDATE: As of Nov 25th, the sign has been removed, and is on it's way to it's new owner in North Dakota. (A sign collector) I'm proud that I could help save this sign.

15.I wish everyone can love his/her own pets, no matter dogs,cats or any kinds of animals, therefore we won't see any animal abused or street dogs/cats, that might be as well as world peace to me.

Today is my 12th Trannyversary… the day when I celebrate the anniversary of the first time I ever fully dressed up in 2011 and became Penny.
The pic on the right is from 10 years ago, and was when I finally found the look I wanted for myself after dressing up for a couple of years. I kept pretty much the same look until two years ago when I had a revamp and went blonde, changed my eye makeup, and did my lips differently.
Living in the sunshine for three and a half years has made me way more tanned now… I didn’t realize how pasty white I used to be!
I managed to capture this poor little female Superb Fairy Wren feeling the heat of a warm day last week.
It sat with its mouth open and mimicked how I felt in the 40C heat!

When I was getting this image ready for upload, I couldn't help but think of all those less fortunate than us, people that do not have the blessing of eyesight.
It made me feel very fortunate that I have my eyesight so that I can see beautiful scenes such as this one.
These tulips were captured at the Wooden Shoe Tulip fields near Woodburn Oregon.
I read today on social media that the Wellington, New Zealand, trolleybus system will be abandoned from tomorrow - I am not sure if the whole system will fall tomorrow or if this abandonment will be in stages. In the upper half of the northern façade wall, the visit of the women to the prince is shown. The reception is very solemn: Sarenput sits on a lion-footed chair, holding his staff and scepter in his hands. In front of him are four women. The first lady standing in front of him is:
His favorite beloved wife, the mistress of the house Sattjeni, the second is his beloved mother Sattjeni, the following: his beloved daughter Satet-hotep, and the fourth: his beloved daughter Sattjeni.
Four papyrus-bundle columns indicate that the reception takes place in a hall.
In the lower half of the wall, you can see a greyhound and a policeman (ghafir) equipped with a bow and arrow and a stick, who is attached above the dog, following Sarenput.
Afterward, the three sons of Sarenput are represented:
"His eldest son, whom he loves, master of all his possessions, his excellent heir who founded his house, Count Heka-ib, born of Sattjeni"
"His beloved Son Heka-ib the Middle" and "His beloved Son Heka-ib the Little"
A group of three female "singers" join the scene.

Ha! I'm still here. I leave tomorrow. Almost done packing. We took a lil' trip on base today. Hubby needed to buy a new hat for his military uniform. While we were there, he took me around base to take pics of flowers. *his idea! I swear!* Isn't that the best hubby ever!?
I am so loving this 50mm 1.4 lens that I rented. I wish I could keep it. HAHA! I'll have one of my own soon though. Well... eventually! =)

So I've been struggling to come up with something to do for a "Hi, I'm..." video for a little while now. At first I thought I'd show off my favorite video games, but no matter how hard I tried I could not keep that under a minute and a half. Then I tried just talking and saying who I am and what I do, but it was really painfully awkward and then I would start cursing a lot, and I would like to submit it to the "Hi, I'm..." group and respect the desire for clean language in that group. Then I posted this shot of my poached egg and when Minty started cursing my name I thought it would be fun to make a video of this, and use it as an excuse to blog this great dish I semi-made up and have been eating a lot of lately. (Too much, really.) So here I am introducing myself and poaching an egg! You can check out the whole dish written up right over here, and please do because there's a few things I forget to mention in the video, like the vinegar in the water, etc. Enjoy!

P.S. This momma had twins 4 weeks ago! You'd NEVER know.
My wife and I had to engage in a snake rescue on Oct. 8. A 3-foot coachwhip had tried to go through plastic netting. Head and neck went through alright, but the thicker part of the body got stuck. the snake did not understand what we were trying to do by cutting the netting. It kept trying to bite our hands. Of course coachwhips are not poisonous, but they do have teeth and can draw blood. And they are FAST! When the last constricting netting was severed, the snake disappeared so speedily that we didn't even see where it went! Coachwhips come in many colors; this one was flecked with brown and black.
