For strobist, this was a six light set-up - beauty dish above tilted slightly upward, camera left a five ft. octa for fill, two gridded bare strobes angled from behind left and right, and two strobes aimed on a white paper backdrop. All lights Profoto and triggered with Pocket Wizards.

Taken some time back, although only recently processed.
This image was produced using three bracketed exposures of the same subject, combined and tonemapped using Photomatix Pro software, to produce a single High Dynamic Range image - which reveals far more detail and colour than a single exposure. The image was then tweaked some more in Photoshop CS.
It's all over the evening news --
All about the fire in your life
On the evening news...
But I don't want no part
Of this crazy love,
I don't want no part of your love.
I don't want no part
Of your crazy love,
I don't want no part
Of your crazy love."
The Graceland album is 27-years old this year. I remember the release of this amazing body of work like it was yesterday. Tempus fugit, dear friends!

Tech Note: The image consists of a single, highly processed photographic exposure with a custom symmetrical and highly non-linear Tone Curve. (The curve peaks at its center, and falls off smoothly to zero at either end to form an overall bell shape.) Other Lightroom controls are manipulated to turn what is actually an early evening image into a nighttime view.

EVOLVED from a DreamShaper v8 creation with Juggernaut. With a high prompt weight and 15% noise, the resemblance to Pablo is much better.
I like the setting for the cryptid taxidermy museum.
This has a long string of evolves from an image I had forgotten to publish, but found on a name search again.
Here is the originating image which started the chain:

I had the opportunity to visit Artechouse for Quayola’s algorithmic light show based off an AI interpretation of piano music. You read that right, and if it sounds and looks surreal, you should have just seen the walls pulsating with the different color tones to match the piano’s notes. According to Artechouse, the exhibit offers “A duet of motorized piano and hyperreal projections combines human and technological elements through a system of unconventional generative algorithms.”
