The work of Swedish artist Hilma af Klint is very inspiring. I regularly refer to her style in my AI prompts. On the Screenpunk website an article on Af Klint.
A visitor walking through the "Hyperréalisme | Ceci n'est pas un corps" exposition which is currently running at Musée Maillol in Paris and where contemporary works are confronted with classical ones.

It all started with a painting of mine, but now we are far away from it.
Prompt:
The dork monster in cryptid taxidermy in post apocalyptic wonderland, in heaven everything is fine by lady in the radiator and brothers quay, stopmotion cinema photograph by h.r. giger, by giuseppe arcimboldo, hieronymus bosch, art nouveau, intricately detailed, hyperrealism, fantasy, imperial colors; bogomils universe
Gouache sur papier, fond rouge (1977) (Titre, lettrage, signature et année à la plume : encre de Chine. Dans le rectangle blanc surligné)
Did some funky Photoshopping on this, a bit more (or maybe less) than the usual supersaturated, hyperreal HDR fad that seems to be catching on like wildfire. It's kind of a little bit HDR, a little bit toned, a bit of layer fun.
Daniel Wallace
Canada (1983)
Decoded
Daniel Wallace, former director of a company specialising in new technologies, presents his first series, Decoded. Influenced by hyperrealism, this Canadian artist combined two types of images: on the one hand, studio shots of young women and, on the other, similar portraits created from scratch by artificial intelligence he was able to code thanks to his previous profession as an entrepreneur.
He reinterpreted the myth of the Siren, whose apparent beauty masks a sinister reality. In his eyes, she becomes a metaphor for modern technology. Presented side by side, these images blur our perception of reality and question the role of artificial intelligence in an increasingly virtual world.
Prompt: Create a digital fine art painting of a mountain valley at dawn, surrounded by towering pine forests and crystal-clear streams reflecting the orange-pink glow of sunrise. Mist gently rolls over green meadows dotted with wildflowers. Snow-capped peaks glisten in the distance under a crisp, cool sky. A wooden bridge crosses the stream, leading toward a cozy log cabin with smoke rising from the chimney. The lighting is soft but high contrast, with deep shadows and radiant highlights enhancing the textures of rocks, trees, and water. Ultra-realistic 8K quality, cinematic composition, natural color grading, detailed atmosphere, hyperreal lighting, photorealistic textures.
This digital fine art was created using OpenAI Sora AI and Photoshop
Midjourney introduced a new feature: retexture. It enables you to maintain an image structure and retexture it. Midjourney calls it "an extremely powerful feature" and I do not disagree.
The series Headshot contains the results of a first experiment with the feature. The original, unretextured Screenpunk image is here.

"Andy Warhol" by Kazu Hiro, at the "Hyperréalisme | Ceci n'est pas un corps" exposition that runs currently at Musée Maillol in Paris
-----------------
By creating large sculptural portraits of renowned artists such as Andy Warhol and Frida Kahlo, Japanese artist Kazu Hiro creates a strong intimate relationship with his iconic figures. Hiro sculpts the layers of silicone from the inside out, and thus succeeds in bringing out the buried emotions of his characters.
