Colori accesi, brillanti, vibranti.

Bright, bright, vibrant colors. Compositions punctuated by overlapping lines and planes, geometries built on light.
Hyperreal landscapes, truer than real, surreal, suspended, often impossible. Misleading proportions where there is no room for man.
Distinctive features that immediately and unequivocally refer to the visual language of the master of photography Franco Fontana.
I apologize to the Master.
Sorry to Maestro Fontana.

Bondi Beach is an icon of Sydney's too. It also has strong links with Australian photography, from Max Dupain's quintessential Australian beach photograph, "Sunbaker" (1937) www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au/collection/works/115.1976/
to Ann Zahalka's magnificent tribute, "The Bathers" (1989). www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au/collection/works/96.1990/
This photo has nothing to do with those, but photographic history is important. In the same way, it might seem incongruous to suggest a link between this scene and the work of the first great English colour photographer famous for his beachside postcards, John Hinde (1916-1997). John's work is well known to anyone who collected English postcards during the second half of the 20th century. The printing technique he used (in Italy) created these wonderfully hyper-saturated images. www.johnhindearchive.com/index.php?Seasides#thumb
There is an element of the hyperreal in this photo as well, and that is more to do with the limitations and charms of the Panasonic DMC-FS7 camera itself.
A landscape image of Dunning Glen, in Perthshire, Scotland, in full Autumn colours.
Trying something slightly different for a change with regard to editing and image style. Hyper-real but still kind of cool, I think.

Yes, today it's raining a bit Beethoven, but to walk through the rain with sunglasses is a bit strange. But you do look gorgeous with this cozy coat and the orange umbrella. Although you forgot to put on your boots, now your feet are getting wet, silly!
Sing, let's sing in the rain Beety Boy. Come on, lets do it; move!
"I'm singin' in the rain, just singin' in the rain
What a glorious feelin', I'm happy again
I'm laughin' at clouds so dark up above
The sun's in my heart and I'm ready for love
Let the stormy clouds chase everyone from the place
Come on with the rain, I've a smile on my face
I walk down the lane with a happy refrain
Just singin', singin' in the rain
I'm singin' and dancin' in the rain" ~Gene Kelly

Beethoven is busy writing a book about all his adventures. There are already a few pages full of scribbles, but will he ever be able to publish it? 😍
Happy Friday my friends and have a good start of your weekend!

Human-Caused Environmental Change
The growth of cities and suburbs may cause biodiversity to decline by fragmenting large areas of natural habitat on which many species depend. Only 15% of the Earth's land surface is some form of nature reserve or national park. Meanwhile the global cost of environmental damage is estimated of about 11% of global GDP (Gross Domestic Product).

The Void Remains - by Dirk DZIMIRSKY - 2016
Charcoal/acrylic on canvas
Dirk Dzimirsky is a German artist best known for his hyper realistic drawings depicting human beings in a dark mood, thus revealing the vulnerability and tragedy present in their condition. He utilizes the interplay of light and shadow combined with extreme detail to create a melancholy mood in his images. In translating photographs into drawings, he wishes to go beyond merely recreating a single instant in time and instead create a photographic snapshot representing the culmination of his life experiences with others, succinctly encapsulated in the subject’s gaze (comment from Pixelelco - reddit webpage)
“There is something so special in the early leaves drifting from the trees – as if we are all to be allowed a chance to peel, to refresh, to start again.”
– Ruth Ahmed

Beethoven is reading the musical notes and plays his song, together with his little sister on the piano.
What a pleasure to hear him play this Caturday!
He is a real virtuoso.

Realistic representation of a Basque shepherd . This might be my favourite mural from Bayonne. I have a few more . I hope you enjoy them all. In case you want to know more about the artists , keep reading... " This fresco was produced during the “Points de Vue 2017” festival organized by Spacejunk Bayonne. We owe this fresco to the pair Sismik and Azot. Sismik alias Rémi Tournier works and lives in Toulouse. He is a versatile artist. It relies on particular techniques such as photography and computer graphics. Depending on his work with or without Azot his style may vary. Passionate about the style of writing and drawing, he navigates between figurative through modern pointillism or spontaneous writings, or even hyperrealism. Azot alias Paul Soquet lives in the Cher, in Sancerre, but it was in Toulouse that he was forged. He is a fan of painting that he wants lively and colorful. He always supports her with a spontaneous, almost instinctive approach. Over the course of his encounters, he develops a free pictorial language outside the beaten track of graffiti.
The search for walls is a pretext for exchanging and sharing moments of life with those they meet. The characters in their frescoes are mostly anonymous. Here it is a Basque shepherd. Their very particular style gives us the impression of looking at a photograph. At the bottom is written in Basque "HITZA HITZ" (What is said is said ...)
