I tried to do a time lapse, but it didn't really work out - too windy. And then I tried to use that trendy new hyperlapse app, but it crops the photo significantly so didn't work out so well either.

The motor traffic sewer that is De Soto Avenue where Sebastian Montero was killed while attempting to ride his bike on it.

27th December 2014.

St Petersburg, Russia.

This hyperlapse was made from 385 images taking approx. 2hr 15min. I spent a lot of time between photos trying to keep the camera level on the cobblestone path. Unfortunately there are still a few 'blips'. (due to the cobblestones)

During the sequence I had two snow flurries, the last ending the sequence as I couldn't keep the lens dry.

I originally posted an unedited version. Adding background music and title took much longer than expected. Also a bit disappointed that FlickR doesn't allow you to replace existing videos - as they do with photos - hence this 'new' re-post.

Sorry if the volume of the music is too loud, I'm a newbie at this and couldn't find the settings to adjust/set the volume.

I had to work with this a lot to account for the wind blowing the drone around. I didn't do it nearly the justice it deserved.

~ I took 112 shots in JPEG, did very little editing on all the shots. I think it came out more funny than scary. I had my husband wear a black jacket with a black hood and black mask. We had another place planned to take the photos but it didn't work out so I shot this in my back yard. I directed, filmed, edited the short video and my husband Joe stared in it.... ~

From the window of Momiji Ramen. Good vantage point, terrible food.

Amy and Izzy and I went to the Windy City to site see, explore, meet Dan and Laura, shop and generally enjoy that "hell of a town" on the lake. It was a great trip despite the frigid weather which my gals faced bravely and admirably.

I made a Reel from this, but the vertical doesn't do it justice.

I set up the GoPro for a time-lapse series (wish I could have done it in Raw). Not because I wanted to do a hyperlapse, but because there was fog and I figured there might be cool photo. I didn't expect the rolling shutter effect, but thought it was pretty cool.

On my trip earlier this year to Kenting, I noticed a troop of ants marching on a wire. I quickly took out my phone and found the AF not working, so I switched to manual focus and recorded for 60 seconds. I then hyperlapsed it at a 4x speed, creating a high way feeling.

Recorded using the manual focus of the manual mode with the original asus camera app on my Asus zenfone laser, and edited with the hyperlapse app by Microsoft.

The Old Mill District formerly housed two competing lumber mills. In 1916 the Shevlin-Hixon Lumber Company built a mill on the west bank of the Deschutes River and Brooks-Scanlon Lumber Company built the "Mill A" complex on the east bank. At their peak, the companies were two of the largest pine sawmills in the world, running around the clock, employing more than 2,000 workers each and turning out more than 500 million board feet of lumber a year.

They were warned for years, starting in 1937, to develop sustainable forestry practices, but the warnings were ignored. By 1950, the forests' depletion led to the decline of Oregon's logging industry. In 1950, Brooks-Scanlon bought the Shevlin-Hixon and shut it down a few months later.

Shevlin-Hixon kept Mill A open until 1983 and Mill B until 1993.

Bill Smith bought the property in 1993. He was smart enough to maintain elements of the mill. The smokestacks and eight other buildings remained, adding to the charm of it.

Now it’s a bustling shopping district and, in many ways, a symbol of Bend’s resilience.

This app is WAY too much fun.

I shot a hyperlapse of the Admin building at work this morning. After lunch I had to drive to Dallas for yet another dental appointment. This time I worked with Jeff directly. He machine-gunned me with novocaine and hopefully got my problem filling taking care of for good! I’ve had that thing redone like...4 times now? My mouth didn’t get its feeling back until about five hours after the procedure.

Tonight I was staring at the Model X I’d decided was mine when a little chat window popped up on the website, as if I’d been standing there long enough that somebody needed to step in and ask if I was OK. After a brief, informative conversation, I reserved my Model X. Now it’s real, people! Now I just need to sell my stock and get all my money into one pile for the downpayment. Not five minutes after hitting the button, Levi called to congratulate me. He says that I should be able to take delivery within a couple of weeks! Oh man. So stoked. I’m gonna have to make an extra effort to shut up about it at work or else it’s all I’m gonna be able to talk about.
