I used a recipe I keep seeing on Facebook for "baking bread in a bag". A little deceiving when you see the hyperlapse video. It looks like you literally mix everything in the bag & then dump it in a pan. Nope. You still have to knead it for several minutes on a floured surface first. The girls & I made a fine sticky mess of the dough that came out of the bag. But we're good at messes, so there's that. The bread took forever to rise. And, yes, that clock reads 10:22 PM. Unfortunately the girls were in bed asleep before this beauty that we made came out of the oven. Though there will be no slices fresh from the oven to sample, we anticipate toast with butter & jelly in the morning! #bake #kitchenadventures #breadinabag #nikkimakesstuff #freshfromtheoven #bread
After a delightful morning coffee, I worked on the courthouse hyperlapse I shot last year and listened to some podcasts. Emily and Wright went to Fort Worth for a glassblowing class this evening, so I stayed home and watched Grand Tour on Michael’s suggestion. I think I’ve found the perfect show to watch while working on stuff. It was delightful to watch, but it doesn’t require my full attention. Oh, and I ate almost an entire pizza. You see, Emily and Wright left in her car, and he took his keys, so I was stranded! I wanted to do MenuRunners, but no matter what I’d be spending $15 minimum. Lucky for me I found a coupon for deep dish Domino’s pizza! I need to get back to the gym.
This is my first ever attempt at HYPERLAPSING. It's starts off really well then I had to go up a slight incline and around a corner and that makes it jittery. Gets jittery from 3 seconds :(. I know I can do it now tho.

It was a slow day at the office today. Ahna and I were the only ones in the office for much of the day. I did get some work done on the Denton video, though. We had a delicious holiday lunch at 940’s, where they have the walls decked with stockings. When we finished eating, we walked over by UNT on the Square. That’s the safest place for me to launch a drone near the square. I shot a hyperlapse around the courthouse, and that was it! I’m not officially on holiday. Hooray!!
I have been thinking about photos I want to capture in Pennsylvania before we move to Alaska. We don't get many thunderstorms in the Lehigh Valley, but this summer we've already had a few. This particular thunderstorm was the second of two cells that produced many lightning strikes.
The first storm passed Nazareth to the north (Poconos region) and only dumped rain for a few minutes (flash flood). Hence, I was able to keep my drone in the air for longer than expected.
The storm in this photo passed us to the south, so I watched it arrive from the west while the sun was setting. Yup, I was capturing a timelapse. As the rain arrived, I grounded the drone until the storm passed and then launched it up to capture these lightning shots using long exposures in Hyperlapse mode.

Timelapse video of the first day of installation. Unfortunately, the project wasn't completed and I can't go back to complete the video for the second day of the installation of the actual panels. Still fun to watch. ~10:30am to 4pm
In meteorology, a cloud is an aerosol consisting of a visible mass of minute liquid droplets, frozen crystals, or other particles suspended in the atmosphere of a planetary body or similar space. Water or various other chemicals may compose the droplets and crystals. On Earth, clouds are formed as a result of saturation of the air when it is cooled to its dew point, or when it gains sufficient moisture (usually in the form of water vapor) from an adjacent source to raise the dew point to the ambient temperature.
