El Parque del Retiro es uno de los lugares más emblemáticos de Madrid, uno de los pulmones de la capital y visita obligada para cualquier visitante que quiera disfrutar de un espacio cargado de historia
After two years of filming, I finished the fourth and final timelapse montage in the "Mauna Kea Heavens" series. This video features lots of adaptive optics lasers, milky way shots, many scenes of the erupting volcano, and several hyperlapse sequences. It utilizes focal lengths from 12mm to 1000mm. I completed my PhD and moved from Hawaii to Washington, D.C., so I won't be filming the telescopes anymore. It can be viewed at vimeo.com/302336360
In this shot, the bright object left of the Keck 1 laser is Mars, and the slight "burst" at the end of the Keck 2 laser is caused by thin cirrus clouds.

Here you can see Mars, Saturn and the Milky Way rising into the night sky over Southerndown, shortly followed by a crescent moon and a burst of colour from the morning's sunrise
Its raining outside, so I finally got around to combining four hyperlapse clips taken in Sidmouth last September. I really should have used the gimbal, it gives hypersmooth motion, but it also makes you feel a bit self-conscious..
Combo video of Canon R with 135mm Rokinon on a Star Tracker, Canon 6DM2 doing the timelapse of the sinking comet,
and 2 drone hyperlapses from above. 250 frames of the Rokinon frames were integrated for the final comet image at the end.
Witness the awe-inspiring beauty of Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) as it streaks across the night sky! This video captures the comet in a mesmerizing time-lapse from both Canon 6DM2 and a Mavic drone hyperlapse, offering a unique glimpse at this celestial spectacle. It'll be back in 80,000 years.

This photo is a single image and no compositing was involved. It was shot with a Nikon 1000mm f/11 mirror lens from about 30 miles from the telescopes. My image from a few seconds earlier was a winner in the 2017 Astronomy Photographer of the Year contest.
My first hyperlapse, it's really cool to see the result. I admit I felt very stupid while I was taking the photos to make it, it took me about 15 min. ^^

What if an alien visited your city or town? What would he see?
Here is Montreal through the eyes of an alien (me). Every year I try to visit Montreal, arguable my most favorite city on the North American continent. This is a classy city that blends an Euro culture with North American life - at least that's my take. ;-)
With well over 15,000 shots (I lost count) of time-lapse stills and video, I obviously couldn't fit all of my scenes into a 3 minute video. So I tried to do my best with the clips that fit this story.

She flows.

She breathes.

She is alive.

My only regret after those 8 days in Valencia is that I haven't taken enough panoramas!

Rotterdam, The Netherlands, April 2016
I spent 9 days in this beautiful city and I would definitely recommend to anyone out there to put Rotterdam on the list of the next destinations because it absolutely deserves a visit!
I came back with like 50 4k timelapses sequences for around 500gb of space!
These are going to be very busy days with editing but I'll be posting some more photos as soon as possible! =)
