A picture of Lake Tahoe from Heavenly Ski Resort. I skied Heavenly and Squaw Valley in the winter of 2005. Heavenly is the largest resort in the Lake Tahoe area.
Today, I went to see Gunn’s “Heavenly Bandstand,” a musical performed by Gunn choir students and staff. I really enjoyed it, and I’m glad I asked dad to bring in the camera halfway through the show. Too bad I didn’t get to take any pictures of Mr. Deggeller in his brilliant beginning act and the rest of the first half. Anyways, the singing was very good, and the most surprising part of the play was Mr. Bulan’s voice. It was soo good! And unexpected!
I came back home and decided to make cookies. I went to Nathan’s house to buy some sugar and then made double the recipe. I did some kickboxing while the cookies were in the oven.

NAMI Mercer hosted its 4th NAMIWalk on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Rider University in Lawrenceville New Jersey. Hundreds of people (and dogs) from all over New Jersey walked the 5k walk. There was food, music and vendors from the community. We got to see old friends and make new friends. The weather was beautiful and a good time was enjoyed by all.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness is a nation-wide American advocacy group, representing families and people affected by mental illness as a non-profit grass roots organization and has affiliates in every American state and in thousands of local communities in the country. NAMI's mission is to provide support, education, advocacy, and research for people and their families living with mental illness through various public education and awareness activities like NAMIWalks.

A real little pastel fairy silk print and matching laces and braids, ribbons and charms. The bluebell lace and the daisy lace next to it were especially hand-dyed to match the silk print.
I stopped in the heavenly cupcake shop to pick up a treat for dora and me. The cupcakes were delicious and these were the two that we had. On the left is a red velvet with real cream cheese frosting and on the right is a coconut hay stack. Every morning they make their cupcakes from scratch. Delicious!
My morning glorys have not performed well this year and finally in September, I have a few Heavenly Blue morning glories blooming. They are so beautiful and I love to see them in my garden.
