I've been thinking for a while that it would be interesting to make a W123 hatchback... So why not make one in Photoshop?! I know it's a bit rough...

Eh. . . I tried a far shot. Focused in the wrong spot. It was a quick shoot, very cold and windy. Just a test for my new flashes. .
Here's some more forbidden fruit from Volkswagen.
The Volkswagen ID.3 is a Golf-sized hatchback with 200 horsepower, reasonable acceleration, and a nimble size - perfect for city driving. Unfortunately, Volkswagen of America thinks its customers only want electric crossovers, so we get the ID.4 and not this.
SO, we don't get either the base Golf or the ID.3. and don't look for a hot hatch version of the ID.3 coming over here either; after all, we're not even getting the Golf GTE.
I would prefer an electric hatchback, because hatchbacks are versatile and, also, fun to drive - unlike the mothetruckin' SUVs and crossovers VW is pushing in the U.S. of A. And when Volkswagen of America sneezes, Volkswagen Canada gets a cold - the Great White North isn't getting this car either.
I believe there's a market for the ID.3 in the States - mainly because Americans who buy VWs do so because they want something different from what the mainstream car customers want. But VW keeps pandering to casual customers who have no deep affinity for the brand, and this has to stop. I want the ID.3. Or the base Golf. Hey, I'm not fussy! ;-)
Let's see if we can get Volkswagen of America to offer the ID.3 for sale, because it if does, Volkswagen Canada will, too.
Yeah, I obviously didn't take this picture.
Contact information for Volkswagen of America to urge the folks there to bring the ID.3 here:
