The Dacia 1325, also known as 1325 Liberta or simply as Liberta, was a car manufactured by Romanian auto marque Dacia from 1991 to 1996.
The Dacia 1325 was the hatchback version of the Dacia 1310. Some photos exist of Dacia 1325 Libertas fitted with the final CN4 front fascia, although rare. It was the successor to the Dacia 1320 hatchback, which was built from 1987 until 1990. At first the 1325 was just an updated copy of the old 1310, but in 1993 it received a facelift matching that of the 1310, and it remained in production until 1996.
As the 1325 cost more than the more desirable station wagon model, sales were limited. Although more successful than the earlier 1320, only about 7,800 examples were built in total. Exports were limited to nearby Eastern European countries and also Greece.
The 1.3-liter, 40 kW engine was only available in the comparably expensive 1325 for the first year of production, replaced by the 47 kW, 1.4 L in 1993.
I wanted one of these so badly when they came out. The rear seats reclined!
It doesn't deserve to be lumped in with the rest of the shapeless monotony in the 1980s pool, but here it is.

The Princess designer Harris Mann intended it to be a hatchback and Torcars created a conversion designed to meet the growing demand for fifth-door saloons which was dealer approved and covered by British Leyland's Supercover warranty. The Torcars Princess Estate was available in 1800 or 2200 engine sizes, with manual or automatic.
The original sleek wedge profile was completely retained but the tailgate revealed an enormous loadspace accessible by probably the largest estate car aperture available on any European car at the time. With the rear seat lowered there is a load length of nearly 6 feet, a load width averaging 4 feet, a load height of nearly 3 feet, and an overall carrying capacity of 54 cubic feet (assuming Denovo wheels and tyres are fitted requiring no spare wheel).
Standard equipment not included in the saloon Princess included:-
• A fully-folding rear seat.
• Wash-wipe system for the rear screen is fitted as standard.
• Fully carpeted luggage area.

Taking a short stroll before our Flickrmeet today, I happened across street performer Jimbo (who I just talked to on Saturday), he was loading up some stuff into his car with Carisa Hendrix
I suppose now would be a good time to promote Jimbo's monthly show called the Garden Variety Show and Carisa is the co-host...
And just to be clear, she just happened to be sitting there (in a red car), I always knew there was a good reason for station wagons... And I only took one photo...
