Thistle is wearing the mellow autumn kimono now; the amber (or mustard 😁) suits her very nicely.
Lovely, detailed leaves for Thistle! And a pipe like one oiran would have used.
Finished the set for Enmusubi and Enkiri! So pleased to make these for the artist who gave these two dolls life.
Enkiri is in tapioca resin, and Enmusubi is in picot blue resin.
Handmade kimono and handmade tsumamizaiku (the kanzashi hairpins). Both are plum blossoms, but in great colors-- pink, blue, and red!

Laurel wreaths suit Rowan extremely well.
This green kimono is lovely...little girls wearing kimono as a design? You know I had to have it.
Rowan is modeling this 1/3 kimono on the Maskcat doll 1/3 body.
So many ornaments here!
Shibori obiage (the sash) tied into a ribbon, and a creamy plum kanzashi ornament.
The pink and blue hair pins are silk habutae as well~
I'm into making “Eco friendly shoppers”, that can be washed and not be promoting some large company with their logos. This one was a commission for a friend. Got a few more on the go as well. Have a lovely day friends.
Briar is wearing a red kimono over a white inner-kimono, worn loosely with a manaita obi. The manaita obi is specific to Oiran, who would wear such gorgeous obi with gold embroidery thread flowing over the very-detailed obi, which is longer, broader, and padded more than the usual obi. The decorative gold threads represent the Floating World, a pretty way to refer to the red light district.
I was playing with the shibori hair ties, and made the semi-traditional hair updo (simplified, and not all the way up~ ♥ but still cute)
I finished this kimono in August 2018, and it is made of wedding kimono silk. The original kimono was never finished, so it was a dream to make it into a kimono for dolls.
Wearing handdyed silk kanzashi, also made by me.
My two YouplaDolls, looking serene. Fairy-like hair is quite sweet isn't it?
These are two examples of cotton obi with vintage silk kimono.
This year, I decided to create a diorama to participate in the OOAK Contest of the Portuguese Doll Convention 2018 - Circus and this was the result. 🎪️ It was also the first time that I made a reroot in a Barbie but I liked it. ^_^ Thanks very much Joana Costa for your magic hands to dress the ticket and cotton candy seller girl. <3 Congratulations to all who participated and showed so much creativity and wonderful works. It was an unforgettable experience! :)

Tsukihime wearing my handmade doll kimono.
I bought some undyed kimono fabric to dye myself! It's the first one I've made for my dolls. I love the pastel rainbow green.
This kimono has been sold.
Sorel (Bardo Research Deepti) in her first kimono.
The kanzashi means "hairpin" and is handdyed tsumami zaiku (a kind of silk art where you fold silk squares into petals, which are arranged into flower shapes.)

🌻 Tall and lanky certainly suits Tomu.
Anyway, the red kimono is made for 1/3 slim dolls, but suits Doll Chateau well, considering their hips!
I've this fabric forr long, long time but I didn't have a chance to make it.
Now I've made for this sweet girl ^ ^
When my friend, Turbow ask me to do this dress for her, I'm so glad because I love her girl (PAM) and I love to see her girl wearing my dress.
Hope she like it ^ ^
This is my XiaoYu...
...I'm still waiting for their body... so I borrowed Emery's. XD
This larger winter plum blossom is for 1/3rd size dolls, or a piece for the owner. ♥
Showing off Percy's vivid green to soft mint hair and profile. Very fairy like. Looks nice with kimono. ^^
My 38 cm (1/4th doll) models my hand sewn Shibori and orange kimono set. I also made the pink tsumami zaiku (hair pin, aka kanzashi) out of kimono silk remnants.
The amigurumi I created, based on the character Max, the "hyperkinetic rabbity thing" from the game/comics Sam & Max , the Freelance Police.

Zashikiwarashi 座敷童 is one of my favorite youkai...
Kokeshi are also so beautiful dolls. Willow would make a beautiful kokeshi.
She's wearing a new kanzashi too, called kikyo (belle flower) with sagari (the dangling petals.)
My pleasure to make a custom kimono for a FairyLand MiniFee Moe doll. Basically, they share sizes with Youpladolls.
I found this 7-5-3 festival kimono (rinzu silk) and it was perfect for dolls...such a festive pattern. ♥ lots of good luck there.
Rin is wearing my handmade kanzashi leaf. I dyed the silk one tiny square at a time.
The little crane is also handmade from silk. The art is a Japanese technique called "tsumami zaiku" and it is also called kanzashi in English.
I'm also trying my hand at making tiny bjd dresses. ♥ It is cute~I'm not displeased. ♥
