I made my kanzashi for 1/6th size kanzashi dolls.
I batch-dyed the silk for this lovely color, with some natural variation.
Pretty in purple. 💜
The lovely Quetzal wearing Aine's wig, because hers hasn't arrived yet... I'm afraid the mail is quite slow.
This kimono is deceptively simple on the top and sleeves, but from behind you can see this kimono is exquisitely painted. We were happy to buy it and put it together to be worn for years by various 1/3 dolls...
Anyway, who do you think wore it best? Willow is modeling on the Myou Doll 1/3 body.
Leaves are red momiji~ lovely again.

Kangas on kankaanmaaluksen sivutuote: se riepu, johon pyyhin pari päivää pensseleitä.
I love~ this fabric so much. It's really pretty and makes a wonderful everyday kimono, but it's also thin enough to make a lovely juban. (Because, it was a human juban in its last life: we're upcycling vintage kimono for our doll kimono.)
These lovelies are the second group of three I've taken in kimono....furisode to be exact, since they have long sleeves.
Juniper, Robin, and Briar.
Juniper in purple, Robin in ecru, and Briar in burnt orange-red.
Percy looking gorgeous in their double-layered kimono set. ❤️
Handmade kimono by me. My 38 cm (1/4th doll) models my hand sewn Shibori and orange kimono set.
I bought this cute rabbit shoe for Birthday (Have to please her so much because she still unhappy with sister thing)
Chamu is wearing a fall kimono, and Kosuzu is wearing a winter kimono, actually! Cranes are traditionally worn around the new year, or at weddings, as they're very auspicious (traditionally).
Hazel looks lovely in this color.
Nanohana kanzashi are silk, batch dyed by me to a few different shades. Small, small flowers and my usual size for 1/3 size dolls shidare (the dangling petals.) Also features a flower crown. ♥
I made Aspen a dress! It's mostly made of lace. ♥ She looks cute as ever. ♥
She's also wearing kimono silk camellia (tsubaki) with a habutae silk crane, and dyed habutae silk wisteria for a unique kanzashi updo.
...I think she looks nice with brown hair too. I'm not decided 100% yet though.
I think I might try another faceup on her, but only after I've gotten sufficient photos...

The september kanzashi for maiko is the bell flower and bushclover. 萩桔梗
I made this tiny version for dolls. Suitable for SD (8-9 wig), or as an oversized hair ornament for MSD (6-7 wig).
Tsukihime wearing my handmade doll kimono.
I bought some undyed kimono fabric to dye myself! It's the first one I've made for my dolls. I love the pastel rainbow green.
This kimono has been sold.
ハリーちゃんの着物デビューです。
Harri's first kimono.
Handmade by me.
The wisteria kanzashi is the smallest I've made yet, petal-by-petal scale. It's very charming. ♥
The lilac kimono silk is very new, so I did not need to treat it at all. It is light weight and lovely~ ♥
These are meant to be 嘘つき nagajuban; just the skirt! So you can keep the silhouette. It’s just a doll shortcut not really common for 着付け
Mask idea number two was admittedly rushed, but there's also a black crow tengu mask-- more beaklike and less funny nose.
The Hermit: 隠者
This is a fantasy style kimono based off of manga and short-novels illustration~ it's not quite kariginu and not quite everyday casual clothes in the heian period either-- 直衣? Kind of? Simplified for easy wear and also because I made this in a week, and it was a lot of work for a week's work. 🎃
Red and silver shoes by MiaDollShop on etsy.
We bought some vintage kimono fabric that was too old to dye in the traditional, painstaking methods, so we got it at vintage prices...and decided to dye it in a beautiful mint with rainbow accents!
getting ready for the fall craft fair season... these are rings I made using real four leaf clovers...
Heena in red kimono with lavender accents.
I made the kimono for a custom order, technically for Feeple65, who has a bit larger chest than my Heena, but similar other proportions.
Heena is wearing it like Furisode rather than like Uchikake this time, so you can see the details of the pattern of the over-kimono (uchikake), which are quite lovely.
Fall is for pumpkins and dark colors. . . some of my favorites.
The blue star flower is hand dyed in a painterly style ; the wisteria is batch dyed.
The kimono is brilliant vermilion, dark green, and all hand painted by a traditional kimono artist.
The leaf kanzashi (hairpin) is hand dyed silk.
I made the kimono from the vintage kimono silk into doll kimono. ^o^
