The silk wisteria hairpin is handmade by me. So is the mauve kimono, both obi. But the green kimono I picked the silk and a friend made me a while ago!

I have 1/4th size doll kanzashi here. It's hand-dyed with a brush, slightly different technique than the dying for the 1/6th fashion doll size.
Shibori kimono is vintage kimono fabric cut and sewn for doll measurements.
Percy in the light blue crepe kimono. This one is is actually not silk; it's a light weight washable fabric meant for jyuban.
We made plum blossom kanzashi to go with this too; just too sweet.

Ariadne looking beautiful as ever.
I made the hair ornaments, the obi, and the kimono. It's one of my earlier kimono I cut with my first kimono pattern for a 1/3 doll. It fits Ariadne a bit better than it does my Heena.

Haru wearing a blue shibori furisode, the kind of kimono with very long sleeves. ❤️

The bright blue flowers are some of my favorite designs so far.
Nanohana kanzashi: canola blossoms, are another flower that blooms at the same time as cherry blossoms. They are very cheerful, and I think go well with kimono.
Heena looks so delicate and pretty in green. It's deceptively simple on the top and sleeves, but from behind you can see this kimono is exquisitely painted. We were happy to buy it and put it together to be worn for years by various dolls...
Anyway, who do you think wore it best?
Leaves are red momiji~ lovely again.
Rosemary does tea ceremony in white yukata.
Yukata is kimono, but less formal, and usually made of cotton.
Tea ceremony is the ritualised way to make tea using traditional implements in a specific order...starting young is to help you remember it naturally, but mostly Rosemary is playing.
