I love the tea set...

The bright blue flowers are some of my favorite designs so far.

The last strips...

Kankaan "riekaleet" on pujotettu ryijypohjaan (hyvin harvakseen lankojen ali) ja kiinnitetty ompelukoneella. Koska ryijypohja on kovin kovaa ja jäykkää, kaikki alle 100 neulat katkesivat.

Varmasti samaan tapaan voisi pohjana käyttää jotain verkkomaista valoverhokangasta - ja säästäisi ompelukonettaan. Tosin laukustakin tulisi silloin pikemminkin pussukka.

Handmade, hand-dyed (batch dyed) silk flowers with some hand-painted accents. With bells! (We hardly ever add bells...)

For a custom order.

6.5x8.75" handmade collage.

B : I'm wearing it now,how is it?

Me : It cute! ^ ^

Fall is for pumpkins and dark colors. . . some of my favorites.

The blue star flower is hand dyed in a painterly style ; the wisteria is batch dyed.

5x7" handmade collage.

Wearing just the short top make she looks a little bit sexy ^^

Love the ume kanzashi...

Do you see the lucky charm gourds?

a lovely picnic with dollies.

7.25x11” handmade collage.

Over the weekend, I made the most amazing vibrant bold glittery rainbow resin glitter hearts ever! I had to take a photo of them surrounded by bubbles as I washed them after sanding. I detest sanding, but they were worth it! A labor of love!

Festive and lucky red-orange kimono, silk. We picked this one because it's so ornate with all this gold fleck.

Machine sewn the blocks and hand sewn the blocks-to-blocks, and finished by hand as well.

Briar is wearing a red kimono over a white inner-kimono, worn loosely with a manaita obi. The manaita obi is specific to Oiran, who would wear such gorgeous obi with gold embroidery thread flowing over the very-detailed obi, which is longer, broader, and padded more than the usual obi. The decorative gold threads represent the Floating World, a pretty way to refer to the red light district.

I was playing with the shibori hair ties, and made the semi-traditional hair updo (simplified, and not all the way up~ ♥ but still cute)

I've made this dress for Turbow's girl ^^

I made a tiny silk kimono and hair flower. I also made the silk wig.

Rusian Artist Dasha Nuznova art doll (Zhu is the name of the sculpt)

Sort of a body comparison, but mostly just two ladies talking.

Hikizuri kimono are my favorite, as you can probably tell.

Kimono, accessories, and hair pins made by me. The hairpins are silk flowers, individually folded and dyed one petal at a time.

I recently found a Dollmore Seol-a , and their name is Willow. ♥

I don't have a body for them at the moment, so they're sharing with Emery, my Class40 IOS doll. ♥

...I decided to try on this purple Kimono I made for my BJD Crobi Doll (Heena)...I think it fits Willow better than her. ^ _^

Wearing a Bellflower (Kikyo) kanzashi.

I make mostly hikizuri kimono out of vintage kimono silk. This means it is not the modern style of kimono with the ohashori (the fold under the obi), but tends to open toward the middle.

Two layers: plum blossom and cherry blossom (white and orange), with gradation.

Thistle (a Doll Chateau Kid, tall MSD, 50cm) is standing in for 57.5cm LillyCat ...

(Her lovely face is a bit small, of course, since she wears 6-7" wig, and 7-8" wig)

Yurie looks so calm...suits any kimono.

Blue hair and pink cherry blossoms! I like it.

Flower and kimono made by me...

Percy is wearing a beautiful green kimono with red under-kimono!

Shoes by devil_fox_413_bjd on instagram. They're traditional wooden clogs; called geta.

Percy in mellow autumn colors wearing leaf kanzashi.

Hand dyed leaves! In doll scale. This takes a lot of practice and concentration, but I love the soft glowing effect.

This kimono is gorgeous, and not too busy at all. The soft color gradation and shimmering silk is my favorite part of it.

Surrounded by handmade flowers and one little curious crane...all made by me of my handdyed silk.

She's still letting me know what her name will be...she's a cutie. ♥

Fairy Land PukiFee Mio, Lati White SP Bayer, Lati Yellow Lea.

Heena in red kimono with lavender accents.

I made the kimono for a custom order, technically for Feeple65, who has a bit larger chest than my Heena, but similar other proportions.

Heena is wearing it like Furisode rather than like Uchikake this time, so you can see the details of the pattern of the over-kimono (uchikake), which are quite lovely.

Wearing handmade cotton yukata / (an informal kimono) and silk hairpins, because...because.

All handmade by me.

Dolls are PukiFee's.

This pose was fun to try. It's based off of ukiyo-e wood block prints, so the movement is interesting. I'd love to recreate an entire ukiyoe at some point...

Aine is Aine is wearing a wig by Anastasia Fashiondoll (on instagram) and the kimono and hair ornaments are made by me. (Excepting the yellow resin kanzashi.)

Yurie and Ruan love the beautifully smelling wisteria. Tis pair is also pastel. (Custom order.)

The silk wisteria hairpin is handmade by me. So is the mauve kimono, both obi. But the green kimono I picked the silk and a friend made me a while ago!

Thistle is wearing the mellow autumn kimono now; the amber (or mustard 😁) suits her very nicely.

Lovely, detailed leaves for Thistle! And a pipe like one oiran would have used.

This is the only one dress I've made for my girl to Halloween meeting.

Finished the set for Enmusubi and Enkiri! So pleased to make these for the artist who gave these two dolls life.

Enkiri is in tapioca resin, and Enmusubi is in picot blue resin.

Handmade kimono and handmade tsumamizaiku (the kanzashi hairpins). Both are plum blossoms, but in great colors-- pink, blue, and red!

Geta by Kilik the Fox.

Kimono made by me. ❤️

Merry Doll Round Zuri, our Ariadne, is a lovely doll. Very study stander and beautiful in any kimono.

Lovely fashion BJD in kimono.

Kimono and kanzashi by me. Geta by Kilik the Fox, and high heels by Ursisarna. Both on instagram.

I love that Bramble suits this dress so well....? 🍄

Rosemary is a cute tiny. The pink kimono is cotton. The habutae hair pins are called kanzashi/tsumami zaiku.

ピンク着物は綿で作りました。つまみ細工は羽二重の梅です!

So many ornaments here!

Shibori obiage (the sash) tied into a ribbon, and a creamy plum kanzashi ornament.

The pink and blue hair pins are silk habutae as well~

I'm into making “Eco friendly shoppers”, that can be washed and not be promoting some large company with their logos. This one was a commission for a friend. Got a few more on the go as well. Have a lovely day friends.
