The geta are made by Kilik the Fox on Instagram. It's all Taiwanese wood and made to fit my dolls. Would recommend.
We chose the vintage kimono silk, and have sewed it into a slim 1/4th BJD size kimono.

A playful, whimsical outfit for the sweet Blythe doll size... Licca has jumped bodies to this one...it's the Obitsu24 M bust size.
Don't they look so charming in kimono? :D I haven't decided on a name yet...
Handmade kimono. Handmade tsumami zaiku. (Also called kanzashi). I made each one by hand...I don't have a sewing machine, so kimono take a long time.
I made this lovely doll kimono from vintage kimono fabric. Lovely patterns and pastel colors.
Modeled on hybrid doll, body is Dream Valley.
The kimono is brilliant vermilion, dark green, and all hand painted by a traditional kimono artist.
The leaf kanzashi (hairpin) is hand dyed silk.
I made the kimono from the vintage kimono silk into doll kimono. ^o^

Smaller than usual kanzashi. It's actually designed for a YOSD, so when you put it on an SD it's delicate looking.

She's surrounded by various other kanzashi...from person sized ones to BJD sized ones.
I made her lacey leggings, and altered the white dress.

So, put the crown on top, slipping the sivler loops under your hair bow. Slip the long kanzashi next to that, secure with a clip if you're not actually putting it all the way up.
Slip the bira-kanzashi on the opposite side of the long one; it is light weight, so can hold itself in most hair. (Unlike people, dolls won't dislodge it easily. ♥)
Yurie Airi is my sweet dreaming doll. She has a soft face and a sad demeanor, which is probably why I like to put her in blue. The orange under-kimono is to match Thistle better. ;) Very coordinated girls...

Color: Variegate Dark Blue, Bright Blue, Pale Blue and white. The colors look the most accurate in the close up photo. I take all pictures in natural light, but colors do differ on different monitors.
Size: Medium Adult 11 ½” from the top of the hat down the side to where it touches the shoulder, Scarflette measures 30” from the corner of the hood to the tip.
Texture: Hat: Soft, medium hair, fuzzy, wooly (this wool will hold up well over daily use) Medium weight

Goldielocks would love to romp around the forrest in this hood. It shines as bright as her hair. This is a Large Adult. It can not be reproduced. It's a One of a Kind, Original!

Juniper is wearing the purple roh kimono: it is a light weight silk that is nearly transparent, and such a thin weave that it has a nice silhouette.
Miyabi and Choco are surrounded by flowers. ♥ Most oft hem are person-sized clips and pins, but they're wearing plum blossom kanzashi.
I made Miyabi's kimono, Choco's lacey trousers, and all the kanzashi.

The hair ornaments are part of what completes a kimono outfit for me...do you like the updo versions or the long hair with ornaments?
Vintage kimono silk which was originally sold undyed. We dyed it in rainbow green and pink tones.
We bought some vintage kimono fabric that was too old to dye in the traditional, painstaking methods, so we got it at vintage prices...and decided to dye it in a beautiful mint with rainbow accents!
This kanzashi design is quite complex; maple leaves, hand dyed one "petal" at a time and arranged into a fall theme.
