Surrounded by dollie flowers. Handmade by me out of hand-dyed silk. I prefer habutae (also called habotai), most commonly known as the strong beautiful lining of kimono.

She's still letting me know what her name will be...she's a cutie. ♥

The pink kimono is silk. The light blue one is actually a synthetic blend, made for washable kimono wearing.

These are actually more than a hundred squares folded one at a time to make petals, and then arranged into wisteria shapes. 💜

Handmade crane kanzash, a kind of Japanese fabric art. These are made out of the same silk that is used in making kimono. I used kimono fabric, which you can see in red and gold, and ivory habutae (the very light weight silk used in lining kimono; it is very expressive).

This kimono fabric is from a wedding kimono fabric...I only have a very small amount of this fabric, so this is a special design.

Color: Variegated Dark Blue, Bright Blue, Pale Blue and White trimmed in Chocolate brown with white warp threads. The colors look the most accurate in the close up photo. I take all pictures in natural light, but colors do differ on different monitors.

Size: Small Adult 11 ½” from the top of the hat down the side to where it touches the shoulder, Scarflette measures 30” from the corner of the hood to the tip.

Texture: Hat: Soft, medium hair, fuzzy, wooly (this wool will hold up well over daily use) Trim: super soft, short hair, fuzzy, Medium weight

Handmade kimono sets and hair ornaments.

Kamuro are the attendants to Tayu and Oiran. In modern day, they are usually girls who are curious about Tayu, interested in Kimono and Tea Ceremony, and starting to learn Japanese dance.

Rosenlied Chocolate is a YOSD (1/6th size) doll wearing silk kimono, sewn by me, and decorated to be little Kamuro. I added silk hair flowers (called kanzashi) because I wanted to. ♥ (Traditionally they'd wear crowns, and modern Kamuro tend to have just bobbed hair.)

I love these rings! These are great when you can't make up your mind what color to wear... wear them all I say!

The coral pink kimono is really sweet and easy to dress up with fancy obi or kanzashi.

This lovely purple is decorated with cherry blossoms and peonies.

The white uchikake is sheer, a sort of sparkle organza that works wonderfully for early spring frost.
