The Commuter Cowl - number 2!

Yurie is wearing a blue furisode made of extremely auspicious colors and playful flower designs.

We chose the vintage kimono silk, and have sewed it into a slim 1/4th BJD size kimono.

Handmade by me.

Closeup of the beautiful Luna in ajisai dress.

A cheerful kimono for a sweet baby doll.

Rin and a baby sheep and bunny...

I am so happy Luna can do this pose...

Yuzen kimono silk: vintage

Pattern drafted and sewn by me.

I hand sewed the top. The skirt is machine sewed, but I still finish things by hand.

A lovely fall theme.

I amde the kimono, obi, hairpins, etc.

Geta (the shoes) is made by Kilik the Fox (on instagram.)

I love Ariadne's beautiful hair. ♥ ♥ ♥

A closeup of the nanohana and ume and kikyou flowers. (Canola blossoms, plum blossoms, and bell flowers, all of which are different seasons...oh well. ♥ )

We made this lovely purple and sheer kimono set for a kind individual. Beautiful furisode fabric and sheer sparkle organza fabric go together so nicely.

Hazel is wearing their favorite purple kimono. <3

Nanohana are called "canola blossoms" and are made from hand-dyed silk in a variety of shades for natural variation.

The green is so dark it is almost black. It's a really unusual color set, and we used most of it on this set.

Looking super cute amongst Edera Mari masks!

BJD photos of works-in-progress. :)

Lonnie arrived!!!! She's so charming. I love her so much. She poses well and she looks so cute in red hair and pink kimono. The pink kimono we made for Sage, but deliberately made it long for Lonnie...but it turns out the sleeves are short, whoops. Forgot about that.

She also needs her own under-kimono or at least the underskirt bit (the bit around the feet can be opened up and displayed then). (裾除け = underskirt / slip )

edit: one of my first doll kimono photo shoots

I love the playfulness that just enhances their super unique and detailed faceup. It's just so fun.

Etsy Trashion Palchemy: my 1st creation!

This beautiful Kanzashi flower, is mounted on a pin back, so it would look gorgeous on your hood! It has been constructed out of recycled materials, provided by bloomsburygroup.etsy.com, as a part of Trashion Palchemy project! For this project I used a button, a funny wooden o bead wrapped with turquoise twine, 2 beads, 3 pieces of scrap fabric, and some hemp string from my Palchemical conection with Bloomsburygroup. I added a pinback, some nylon thread, love, and joy from my own stash.

Length: 4 ½” from the top of the petal to the bottom of the bead

Width: 3” from petal tip to petal tip

Depth: 1”

Both the flower and the hood are in my Etsy Shop! To find out more about my shop please see my profile.

Kimono made by me.

Oh you silly..enough of that...let's go home and make Christmas!

Handmade kimono by me~ also made the lovely silk plum blossoms for their hair.

The pink kimono is silk. The light blue one is actually a synthetic blend, made for washable kimono wearing.

The lovely geta are made by kilik_fox_ho.

Butterfly and nanohana for march kanzashi. The pink kanzashi is an original design.

Nanohana takes inspiration from maiko kanzashi calendar.

Tomu has grown up to a lanky slim teen. ⚜️

🌻 Tall and lanky certainly suits Tomu.

Anyway, the red kimono is made for 1/3 slim dolls, but suits Doll Chateau well, considering their hips!

Do you like the new dress? :) I had fun making it.

I made these 1/4 clothes (except for the bonnet).

Mask is by Edaramari (マスケラ)

Do you think the mask suits Haru? I think so...

The september kanzashi for maiko is the bell flower and bushclover. 萩桔梗

I made this tiny version for dolls. Suitable for SD (8-9 wig), or as an oversized hair ornament for MSD (6-7 wig).

Handmade silk kimono. This is technically everyday kimono silk, but it's still complicated and beautiful patterns.

We also made the silk hair flowers~ they're handfolded one petal at a time.

The lovely geta are made by kilik_fox_ho.

We bought some vintage kimono fabric that was too old to dye in the traditional, painstaking methods, so we got it at vintage prices...and decided to dye it in a beautiful mint with rainbow accents!

The whole look of the gorgeous furisode silk kimono remade into a Feeple65 size doll kimono. This one is gorgeous colors and motifs.

Our Digi Dolls Demon BJD has got a cute pair of geta...or two.

These are actually more than a hundred squares folded one at a time to make petals, and then arranged into wisteria shapes. 💜

Made for 1/4th size dolls.

So, this kimono was made to fit slim 1/4th size dolls like Studio Bitamin, and also fashion BJD.

The bright blue flowers are some of my favorite designs so far.
