This kimono is one that we got a while back, and its delicate but radiant designs are really pretty.
This Elf hood acts as both a Hat and Scarf!
If you get too warm, it flips down like a Hood.
You can tie the scarflette to make a Satchel.
It will even keep you dry in Rain or Snow!

"Flower Adornment for your Faerie Self in Blue and Green"
This beautiful Kanzashi flower, is mounted on a pin back, so it would look gorgeous on your hood! It has been constructed out of recycled materials, provided by bloomsburygroup.etsy.com, as a part of Trashion Palchemy project! For this project I used a button, a funny wooden o bead wrapped with turquoise twine, 2 beads, 3 pieces of scrap fabric, and some hemp string from my Palchemical conection with Bloomsburygroup. I added a pinback, some nylon thread, love, and joy from my own stash.
Length: 4 ½” from the top of the petal to the bottom of the bead

It's up in my Etsy Shop!
Etsy Trashion Street Team is having a palchemy challenge! We swaped names and sent each other a package of things that could have been considered trash. Now we get to create something fresh and new from them. This is my first creation from my Palchemy. We will all be listing our items in our Etsy shops and tagging them "Etsy Trashion".
Ariadne in light green kimono, and Juniper in red kimono.
These kind of kimono are called "muji," and they are very pretty! You can enjoy the silk.
Wearing handmade kanzashi: Ariadne wearing Hagi Kikyo, and Juniper wearing sakura.
Two lost wax cast sterling silver rings I made several years ago at the Hand Workshop. My first jewelry class.
I was always behind everyone else (because we were moving house while I was taking the class) and so the thicker ring was almost completely finished but I didn't get a chance to give the thinner one a final buffing and it looks like it has a brushed finish instead of being highly polished.
Ash wears a short orange kimono and sneakers...ok then.
Thalia wears a long purple kimono with wisteria kanzashi.
Yurie is wearing a blue furisode made of extremely auspicious colors and playful flower designs.
We chose the vintage kimono silk, and have sewed it into a slim 1/4th BJD size kimono.

We made this lovely purple and sheer kimono set for a kind individual. Beautiful furisode fabric and sheer sparkle organza fabric go together so nicely.
The september kanzashi for maiko is the bell flower and bushclover. 萩桔梗
I made this tiny version for dolls. Suitable for SD (8-9 wig), or as an oversized hair ornament for MSD (6-7 wig).
Hazel is wearing their favorite purple kimono. <3
Nanohana are called "canola blossoms" and are made from hand-dyed silk in a variety of shades for natural variation.
BJD photos of works-in-progress. :)
Lonnie arrived!!!! She's so charming. I love her so much. She poses well and she looks so cute in red hair and pink kimono. The pink kimono we made for Sage, but deliberately made it long for Lonnie...but it turns out the sleeves are short, whoops. Forgot about that.
She also needs her own under-kimono or at least the underskirt bit (the bit around the feet can be opened up and displayed then). (裾除け = underskirt / slip )
edit: one of my first doll kimono photo shoots
Handmade kimono by me~ also made the lovely silk plum blossoms for their hair.
The pink kimono is silk. The light blue one is actually a synthetic blend, made for washable kimono wearing.
The lovely geta are made by kilik_fox_ho.
Butterfly and nanohana for march kanzashi. The pink kanzashi is an original design.
Nanohana takes inspiration from maiko kanzashi calendar.
