these days i'm feeling so restless, so grumpy, so stressed, that I soon get bored of myself.
I can't focus on things, concentrate on the work I should do, I just jump from a movie to a song trying to relieve my tortured brain

The opossum is North America's only marsupial mammal. The Opossum seemed a bit grumpy this morning but he didn't hiss, growl or show any aggression whatsoever.
as asked to come up with an idea for someone who's nick name is Mr Grumpy who loves Michael Jackson...so here it is ....Mr Grumpy posing and dressed as Michael Jackson! It was a huge cake, standing over 60cm tall!
He was made with 4 8x4 inch caramel Mud cakes and onei 8inch mud cake

My day job is teaching art to teenagers. It's not as glamorous as it sounds.
Today was the first school day of the second semester. Tired and grumpy kids, tired and grumpy teachers. We have ninety-eight of these days left until summer...not that I'm counting.
Anyway, here's where the magic happens.
Snowy egret, Pismo Beach, California. I'm doing a little archive diving. Today I went for a walk and I'm really glad I didn't take my camera. A sunny spell turned into a really heavy shower that bent my umbrella from the weight of the water and soaked the inside of my rainboots! If I'd taken my camera I would have gotten some Buffleheads and a few Pied-billed Grebes, but lost the camera. But instead you are regaled with an old shot of mine. Taken with a polarizing filter.
That's our back garden fence. Sorry the background is very boring, but I couldn't get over Mr Pigeon's grumpy face!

Celesto (age 20) did not like me taking pictures of her through the glass, and snarled at me 3 or 4 times. She also did not want to go inside so the keeper could let the three young lionesses out, either!

But I do love my job! Certainly enjoying only having to work two 12 hours shifts a week now and not four! Semi - retirement is cool! :)
