I was digging in the photo archives for a shot that fit my mood today and I found one. This is my Montana cat, looking grumpy for whatever reason, and his eyes are glowing besides!
I spent much of the afternoon on the phone with HP tech support for my new (3 months old) computer, only to finally learn that the hard drive went kaput. That computer has been my photo workhorse for three months, since the old one has struggles with space and speed.
The good thing is the computer is still under warranty. The bad thing is the data cannot be recovered. Fortunately, I THINK I have all, or at least nearly all of it backed up (so long as my external hard drive doesn't decide to go kaput too). Grrrr ... time will tell. The replacement drive should be here Friday and I will probably spend the weekend trying to restore and organize my computer files.

The weather here in Brisbane has been a bit grumpy the last couple of days. Shot from a hill in Ascot.
"Grumpy." a Banded Gila monster (Heloderma suspectum cinctum) is a native of the Southwestern United States. He was illegally taken from the wild when he was a juvenile in 1997. I'm honored to have him placed in my care. Photo by Frank
