i want see what i could do with gmic starting from a little render of a simple gradient
and i got almost lost i could do much more then i hoped and i love some of them almost as selfstanding images
FLUFFfibers BFL in the Sticks and Stones colorway, spun into two gradient skeins, Sticks (brown, 115 yards pre-wash) and Stones (charcoal, 137 yards pre-wash).
I separated the colors and hand-carded them into rolags to get the gradient. They are semi-worsted or semi-woolen (I spun from rolags but spun in my usual short backward draw style).

I have started work on testing the gradients with a carriage added.

this should be a smooth vertical gradient with two pixels per colour shade. Doesn't really look like it though. I blame dithering of the poor display.
I do a fair amount of traveling for business. As a result I spend lots of time at Newark Airport waiting for trains and stuff. This set is various scenes of EWR.

Definitely one of my favorite projects to date! This photo consists of 100 macro photos put together for a rainbow mosaic gradient. Gt an 'A' on my color theory final :)
