- corrected color cast by resetting the black and white color points
- cropped to square format
- added gradient map overlay to add contrast
- added gradient fill to transition color to B&W
- applied "photocopy" filter (inverted) to lighten skin tone
- used brush @ 50% / color: white to further lighten the skin tone

Taken for weekly photochallenge... using a gradient map adjustment layer for toning (colour). Some interesting effects; but not wholly convinced I'll be using it a lot. Still, useful tool to have available!

The only thing I did was add the border and used some noise reduction. Greenish glow is probably light pollution, but hey, it still looks cool :)

One of the upsides of having guests from out of town is visiting all those places you don't bother to go otherwise.
Part of my architecture assignment for my Photogrphy II class at NDSU. I tried to center the eries on the interaction between different structure and the light. Feedback is very, very, very welcome!!

I hand dyed a 200 yard gradient with a skein of cascade 220 and made a Chrysanthemum hat . I am going to try this again in pink and white.
