I do a fair amount of traveling for business. As a result I spend lots of time at Newark Airport waiting for trains and stuff. This set is various scenes of EWR.

Definitely one of my favorite projects to date! This photo consists of 100 macro photos put together for a rainbow mosaic gradient. Gt an 'A' on my color theory final :)
After doing the stencil on the vinyl I felt it would look more effective on a larger scale so repainted it on a canvas. I kept the gradient in the background as I found it amusing due to the fact she had nearly burnt my flat down the previous day in a chip pan incident.
Pattern: Welted Cowl & Infinity Loop by Churchmouse Yarns and Teas
Yarn: my gradient handspun from Opulent Fibers merino/silk
Needles: US 5 - 3.75 mm
This is a scratched cd that I was about to toss out, but I thought I would get a pic first, after wetting it, I used a 2D mask from a program called Photo Explosion, then I made the mask edges gradient from Electric Blue to Grass Green. I like the way it turned out. I might have to rethink more trash before I throw it away. I also did lay the wet cd on a small piece of metallic blue fabric, but with the Macro setting on my camera, the blue cloth is now seen like it would be under a microscope.
