Testing a D200 courtesy of my friend Sam, in the comfort of my own backyard. I leaned a large piece of black posterboard against a chair which was facing east into the morning sun, then shot the flower with my 50mm f/1.8 lens and a +1 Hoya screw-in closeup filter. The posterboard wasn't heavy, and started to bend away from full sun toward the top, resulting in the cool gradient background.
A few more bells and whistles on the D200 than the D80 -- its quite a camera. My only complaint -- why doesn't Nikon make all its DSLR cameras card compatible? I had no idea CF cards were so much more expensive than SDs.
a portion of the setting sun, by Elk Island national park, Alberta. Shot on Fuji 400, probably f 1.8
Film.
More London pictures... I guess it's time that I accept the fact that I'm not there anymore. Sigh, back to reality, I suppose.
