The New Terminal Area (NAT) at Madrid's Barajas Airport was designed by a consortium of Richard Rogers Partnership, the Spanish practice Estudio Lamela and two engineering companies TPS and Initec. It is expected that the new terminal will accommodate between 65 and 70 million passengers per annum. With a total area of 1,200,000 sq m, the NAT is one of the largest buildings in Europe and will have a significant urban, economic and social impact on both Madrid and Spain itself.

This was my first attempt at gradient dyeing and I'm pretty happy with it :-)

The yarn is wool/angora/bamboo/nylon blend, dyed with food dye. Colours are heat fixed :-)

inspired by my sketchbook page, Angie's Garden (in my Amber book) - used up leftover paint on the right side, then mimicked the gradient with gelatos on the left

WOW! WaiWai did a great!! What a wonderful gradient colors!
