Whiteside County in far northwestern Illinois just escaped getting covered by the glacier in the last ice age, but it didn't escape the glacial floods. Outwash has buried the county in gravel carved into rolling hills. The hills are about to be covered by corn.

On the weekend of November 20-21, 2010, I was invited to photograph the new Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas prior to their opening December 15, 2010 in Las Vegas NV.
This set of images represents my efforts that weekend to showcase this newest resort property opening up on the Las Vegas Strip. Thanks to David Scherer from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for showing me around, to Miiko Mentz at Katalyst Films for helping to arrange the shoot, and to my wife for modeling for me.

Promo piece I made for Christopher Courtney of Chicago Dance Crash and Culture Shock Chicago fame. It consisted of a DVD and business card holder hand cut from a piece of acrylic paneling.
The sleeve is made of ink jet transparency printouts glued onto vinyl sheets.

Evan may not have grown very much between 9-12 months, but he seems to be getting bigger now. It must be the cows' milk that he's been drinking. I started putting him in some of his 18-24 month Baby Gap clothes in the last week. They're rather roomy and a bit long in some cases, but they're wearable. (He still seems to be fine with Carter's 18M stuff, however.)
Peter loves to roll on his back. The only problem with this is, he can't always get back to his feet. He's getting better at it!

Since the spread of Covid-19 in Thailand, there is no more idol event in Chiang Mai & Bangkok. So, I decide to take the pictures of animal and flower instead. I hope the situation in Thailand will get better soon.
