Atara, North Chinese Leopard photographed at Big Cat Sanctuary, Kent, UK

Endangered and on the IUCN red list...These are the rarest breed of Leopard left in the world.

There are only 2500 North Chinese Leopards remaining in the wild in highly fragmented ranges.

This is a tiny (the marks on the ruler say 5mm) watch cog. (MM not imperial)

Placed on a metal ruler, you can see the size compared to the markings and the depth of the ruler itself. Had to use extension tubes on top of my usual 90mm macro to get in this close. I even used a tripod instead of hand held.

(Going to be interesting to see how may tags get autocorrected to My Closet as mine tried too!)

I think some of you are pulling my leg. I'm pretty sure "Working Girl" is the international colloquial term for ladies of the evening. I didn't answer any of them, even though I'm always looking for a good time..;)

Happy Slider Sunday

..HBM!!

This is an outside beach bar from the Holiday Inn, Corpus Christi/Padre Island, Texas. I was there early trying to get a sunrise shot but I was a little bit late..:( I can't image it being a lot of fun in this place, as it's the windward side of the Island. I was worried about my gear because I could feel sand and spray getting on me.

Looks like we're in for a wet week here.

Great chillout version^^

Like the legend of the Phoenix

All ends with beginnings

What keeps the planet spinning

The force of love beginning

Oh we come too far

To give up who we are

So let's raise the bar

And our cups to the stars

I'm up all night to the sun

He's up all night to get some

I'm up all night for good fun

He's up all night to get lucky

We're up all night to the sun

We're up all night to get some

We're up all night for good fun

We're up all night to get lucky . . .

Taken across from the Flying J truckstop in Willard Utah. The Wasatch Range is right and out of sight the Great Salt Lake and Willard Bay are about a half mile to the left. A light snow over night left everything white topped.

This song reminds me of autumn days, a change in the weather, hot coffee, cuddles, comfort, and warmth with those we love most. It is all the good things I wish for you (and me) this weekend.

Special thanks to Jenny for posing ! 😄

My sandwich mysteriously disappeared from the picnic table. I asked this guy if I could frisk him and he complied but I think that bulbous stomach and crop is where the truth lies. With that said he is an adorable thief.

I take a lot of photos and not all of them go up up Flickr. I try to pick what I consider "quality" photos for posting. But, because I take so many photos, sometimes a photo falls through the cracks. This one is from last year; no idea why I didn't post it.

12/25/2022: haha I actually have posted this before. I'll leave it here, I guess. Silly me.

"I've been thinking my life is what it is

And this is how you found me

This is who I am, this is how I am

This is what I am, and it's how I'll will forever be

Get over it, get over it!

Now I realize you're always on my case

On how you want me to be

Who I should talk to

How I should behave

When I should be home

This is not how I will do my things!

Get over it, get over it!"
