Rossiya is a Soviet and Russian chocolate factory in Samara, founded in 1969. Since 1995, it has belonged to the Swiss company Nestlé.
The factory was built in the late 1960s according to the design of the Italian company Carle i Montanari. It was put into operation in April 1970, becoming the first enterprise in the USSR to produce chocolate with a full cycle: from roasting cocoa beans to the release of finished products. The production capacity was designed to produce 25 thousand tons of products per year.
The first director of the Kuibyshev Chocolate Factory "Russia" from the day of its foundation until 1991 was Elena Vasilyevna Shpakova. In 1975, for the fulfillment of the five-year plan, the factory was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, 10 types of products received the USSR State Quality Mark.
The factory produced a wide range of products: sweets (for sale by weight and sets in boxes), chocolate bars, shaped products, the range was constantly expanding, new recipes were developed. The factory's signature product was the boxed candies "Razdolye"
In 1992, the factory was turned into a joint-stock company under the privatization program (the open joint-stock company Confectionery Association Rossiya was founded). In 1995, Nestlé acquired a controlling stake in the factory; in June 2011, the open joint-stock company that owned the factory’s production complex was reorganized by joining the Russian legal entity Nestlé as a production branch. Nestlé has announced total investments in the factory since 1995 of over $200 million.
New types of products for Rossiya were developed — chocolate bars, chocolate bars “Sudarushka”, “Puteshestvie”, “Sovershenstvo”, “Zolotaya Marka”, and “Komilfo” candies.
In the 2010s, the factory produced more than 170 types of chocolate and other confectionery products under the brands “Rossiya — Schedraya Dusha!”, Nestle, Nesquik, Nuts, and Rodnye Prostory candies.
In 2021, the cocoa bean processing line was updated

Just a few things that come to mind but she is so much more. I have immense respect for my mum and can only dream of being half as capable as she is.
Happy Mother's Day mummy, I'm grateful to you and I love you
pic: we shared this crayfish sometime ago and when I went to take a photo of its tattered remains, she rearranged it so that it would look "more presentable"

Thank you to Lang Realty for sponsoring the West Jupiter Recreation Center Afterschool Program Holiday Party! Lang Realty placed an Angel Tree in their lobby, and individuals generously contributed to the purchase of presents for the 40 youth participating in our afterschool program. The kids were surprised on December 19 with pizza, cake, and holiday gifts. As you can see, a sponsorship like this one from Lang Realty, make a difference in the lives of our community! Thank you!
The generosity of people in regards to Fetus, has really left me feeling all schmoopy. Everyone has just been so nice getting stuff for us.
These showed up on our doorstep yesterday from two of the most awesome people, Empress and Buzz. This of course, in addition to the other things that showed up for Fetus from them a few weeks ago. You two are spoiling this kid rotten. Thank you so very much!!!

A generous benefactor (AKA my partner, Rand Paine) gifted me with some Lindens...a portion of which were promptly spent on this "personal submersible" (purchased from Gaslights Emporium in Port Babbage.)
I am still working on my navigation skills, but it is an extremely enjoyable mode of travel. In fact, I encountered what appeared to be a mermaid (!) in these seas, but unfortunately I was not quick enough to capture her image.
