On August 7th, I was generously invited to join Donna Virgilio's Goddess Tour of Tintagel-Corwall. She was also a participant at the 2019 Sun Lover Goddess Conference in Glastonbury before having a group join her from the U.S. and Canada.
After a breakfast stop, we headed to Nectan's Falls, Boscastle, and Tintagel, where we spent time in King Arthur's Great Hall and Merlin's Cave on the beach below Tintagel Castle.
* "St. Nectan's 60-feet waterfall is reputed to be one of the top 10 spiritual sites in England. St. Nectan was a hermit who gave his name to the glen and. waterfall. Although, according to some sources, the name is a Christianized form of the Cornish water-god Nectan. The keive was seen as a potent Pagan symbol of Gaia and has been a place of reverence since before Christ. St. Nectan was said to have lived here and reputedly lies buried under the stone of the basin."
* Tintagel Castle is said to be the birth place of King Arthur.

the lovely couple who gave us 3000 yen after taking us around to 4 different ATM machines as we tried unsuccessfully to get money out. after they had handed us the money, leaving us all gobsmacked on a street corner, we all panicked, saying, i cant believe this, how do we thank them properly? we must do something, thank them somehow, write them a card? we frantically searched forthem in the crowded street, finally found them and took a photo of them with jeremy, the lovely guy from new jersey, as we thanked them profusely once more. i dont think i have ever come across a people as generous as the japanese.

I appear to have foolishly decided to participate in another 24H solo mtb event! This time I'm hoping to raise a load of cash for CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading children's cancer charity. Give generously and I will promise to train really hard for the event :)
If I raise enough money then I'll even put all of my photos back up on Flickr.

Rossiya is a Soviet and Russian chocolate factory in Samara, founded in 1969. Since 1995, it has belonged to the Swiss company Nestlé.
The factory was built in the late 1960s according to the design of the Italian company Carle i Montanari. It was put into operation in April 1970, becoming the first enterprise in the USSR to produce chocolate with a full cycle: from roasting cocoa beans to the release of finished products. The production capacity was designed to produce 25 thousand tons of products per year.
The first director of the Kuibyshev Chocolate Factory "Russia" from the day of its foundation until 1991 was Elena Vasilyevna Shpakova. In 1975, for the fulfillment of the five-year plan, the factory was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, 10 types of products received the USSR State Quality Mark.
The factory produced a wide range of products: sweets (for sale by weight and sets in boxes), chocolate bars, shaped products, the range was constantly expanding, new recipes were developed. The factory's signature product was the boxed candies "Razdolye"
In 1992, the factory was turned into a joint-stock company under the privatization program (the open joint-stock company Confectionery Association Rossiya was founded). In 1995, Nestlé acquired a controlling stake in the factory; in June 2011, the open joint-stock company that owned the factory’s production complex was reorganized by joining the Russian legal entity Nestlé as a production branch. Nestlé has announced total investments in the factory since 1995 of over $200 million.
New types of products for Rossiya were developed — chocolate bars, chocolate bars “Sudarushka”, “Puteshestvie”, “Sovershenstvo”, “Zolotaya Marka”, and “Komilfo” candies.
In the 2010s, the factory produced more than 170 types of chocolate and other confectionery products under the brands “Rossiya — Schedraya Dusha!”, Nestle, Nesquik, Nuts, and Rodnye Prostory candies.
In 2021, the cocoa bean processing line was updated
