Bishop's Castle

On August 7th, I was generously invited to join Donna Virgilio's Goddess Tour of Tintagel-Corwall. She was also a participant at the 2019 Sun Lover Goddess Conference in Glastonbury before having a group join her from the U.S. and Canada.

After a breakfast stop, we headed to Nectan's Falls, Boscastle, and Tintagel, where we spent time in King Arthur's Great Hall and Merlin's Cave on the beach below Tintagel Castle.

* "St. Nectan's 60-feet waterfall is reputed to be one of the top 10 spiritual sites in England. St. Nectan was a hermit who gave his name to the glen and. waterfall. Although, according to some sources, the name is a Christianized form of the Cornish water-god Nectan. The keive was seen as a potent Pagan symbol of Gaia and has been a place of reverence since before Christ. St. Nectan was said to have lived here and reputedly lies buried under the stone of the basin."

* Tintagel Castle is said to be the birth place of King Arthur.

My very generous friend shared some of her beautiful blooms with me. This is just one of two vases. She has a giant hydrangea plant full of gorgeous blooms. She handed me the clippers and encouraged me to keep on cutting. Plus she always gives me the best compliments whenever we are together. She is one of those people who is easy to love. God blessed me when He put her into my life.

Invest on the quality of your life!

The generosity of people in regards to Fetus, has really left me feeling all schmoopy. Everyone has just been so nice getting stuff for us.

These showed up on our doorstep yesterday from two of the most awesome people, Empress and Buzz. This of course, in addition to the other things that showed up for Fetus from them a few weeks ago. You two are spoiling this kid rotten. Thank you so very much!!!

A generous group of volunteers from Bank of America stopped by New Joelyn's Home on April 24, 2017 to help set up the rooms for the women who will be moving in to the recovery program very soon. They brought care packages with blankets, sheets, towels and toiletries for each of the 24 beds!

"For this work, Vasconcelos makes use of the form of another well-known Portuguese emblem, the Heart of Viana, which symbolises honesty and generosity, and scales it up to over three metres high. The sculpture rotates in the gallery space and is made entirely of red plastic cutlery, which has been abstracted to such an extent that the lines between luxury and coarseness are blurred. Dramatically lit, it is accompanied by recorded Portuguese fado songs, which speak of love, loss and the conflict between emotion and reason."
