Generous, extra large smooth puffy drops of frosted white czech glass beads wrapped in a modern, messy style with copper filled silver plate wire. These glass beads have a soft, understated elegance, and when near light they actually glow - it's beautiful. Silver plate earwires. From the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the bead they measure 1.75 inches. The beads themselves are 15 x 20mm.

Generosity week ran from February 24th to March 2nd 2014 at USF as a way for students to give thanks for the generosity of all the donors that contribute to the University of San Francisco.
The week started with a Generosity Food Truck Kickoff, a “Thank You” banner signing and a chance for students to meet the student philanthropy committee.
Could you imagine USF without any of these buildings or statues?
Lo Schiavo Science
75% of the cost of LCSI was funded by 3,407 donors. Gifts ranged in size from $2 to $10 million, from Alumni, Faculty, Staff, Parents, Friends, Foundation and Corporations.
Gleeson Library
The library has received over 4,000 donations from Alumni, Students, Faculty, Staff, Parents, Friends, Foundations and Corporations. Some of the books in Gleeson Library were donated to USF by students like you, through previous Senior Class Gift campaigns.
Kalmanovitz Hall
K-Hall was renovated in 2008, which was made possible by over 1,200 gifts from people like you. The Kalmanovitz Charitable Foundation has continued to support your USF experience as one of the University’s generous supporters.
Cowell Hall
The renovation and update of Cowell Hall in 1995 was made possible in part by the S.H. Cowell Foundation. Many additions, within Cowell Hall were made possible by gifts from people like you.
Malloy Hall
Renovated in 2004, this building is named for our current Chair of the Board of Trustees, Tom Malloy ’61 and his family. Their generosity helped make this building possible.
Runner Statue
Students like you made this statue possible. The Runner Statue was made possible by the USF class of 1986, who raised over $8000 as part of their Senior Class Gift.
Leona and Dominic Tarantino Plaza
This plaza is named for Leona and Dom’54 Tarantino, alumni and trustee emeriti. Their generosity helped to make this space possible.
Koret Health and Recreation Center
Without the support of the Koret Foundation, USF would not have this Garden Courtyard, the Koret Gym, or the Koret Law Center. Without their generosity, many spaces at USF would not be possible.
I was chatting with my farmer neighbor the other day and asked him if he was selling corn this year. I always buy it from him but haven't seen for sale in his yard this Summer. He said the torrential rainstorms we had in June and July ruined his first few crops. But he said he had high hopes for Batch #5. I told him his corn is the best I have ever had. He laughed and said everyone tells him that. And added that if he manages to pick enough, he'd save some for me.
And just yesterday, I heard someone shouting "hello" by my back door. It was him, standing there with a half-dozen ears of corn! He apologized that it was not much, but he did manage to pick enough for his family and saved some for me!
What a generous gift and delivered to my back door, no less!
The generosity of neighbors, especially farmers... something money can't buy!

This year's Artistic Residency, sponsored by the Theatre Arts Program with the generous support of the Penn Theatre Initiative, will feature master puppeteer Robert Smythe, founder of the groundbreaking, internationally renowned Mumpuppet theatre. Mr. Smythe, a four-time Barrymore Award winner, has performed around the U.S. and the world, including many theaters in the Philadelphia area. He has won numerous awards and fellowships from many of the country’s most prestigious cultural institutions, including the Guggenheim, the Pew Center for Arts and Heritage, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. For two weeks, students in Theatre Arts will work intensively alongside Mr. Smythe, fusing theatrical themes and storytelling techniques with the creation of 3-D performance objects. This year, the Artistic Residency will also support the work of the Edinburgh Project, an ensemble composed of Penn Theatre Arts students, who will devise an original performance piece to take to the 2015 Edinburg Fringe Festival, using their work with Mr Smythe as “ raw material” for their explorations and performance research. The Artistic Residency will culminate in a public presentation of an original performance piece, or work-in-progress, performed by Mr. Smythe and the students working with him during his residency, on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Annenberg Center Live, Bruce Mongomery Theatre.

It is a strong connection that we make when we chose to give to another. Whether that giving involves something tangible or not, i.e.; time, love, a thought or word, the connections that it makes is real and can be felt energetically in the ether.
Thank you all for your kind thoughts and words for my brother. He is doing fine. May you continue to connect to those around you.
