I'd long ago decided the pixie wasn't working as Akari's daughter, Juniper. I'd stolen her wig and had her try Jurianna's old one and then more recently, Yaazi's old wig from when she was an MSD. I rather liked it on her. Granted, at the time I'd figured I'd just get her another kana long in a more normal color, but now I'm not sure. She might keep this color.

My current story for her: She's one of the grand, immortal faes. One of the rare, powerful beings from the deep fae. However, either she was banished from the fae lands because of her love of the mortal world and turning her back on the fae traditions, or some catastrophe happened to her to sever her from the fae. Either way, she's lost her immortality and her grand fae magic. She is essentially a lower fae now and still has some fae magic, but is no longer uber powerful. I'm still deciding more about her - I think she's a bit sweet and quiet and unassuming, which makes her an interesting mix with Rusalka, my half demon girl, who is also sweet and quiet and unassuming. I'm hoping they'll do well together.

Also, I don't think she needs the glasses, I think she just finds them amusing.

The dress she's wearing is one I started making for a friend's daughter's doll that was never quite completed. One of these days...

Wi-Fi detector T-shirt. Yes, I Am Spartacus! I mean, I Am Wi-Fi! When children approach the bright, shiny Wi-Fi network with their iPhones, like moths to the flame this All Hallow's Eve, I blue screen their precious gadgets with a TIFF buffer overflow exploit. Mwah ha ha.

This is a guy who visited our floor with a demon puppet that he prepared himself. It was the first thing he had sown, and while it does not look as professional as the stuff in The Muppet Show/etc., it still looked pretty cool.

I don't remember the demon's name, but when I asked him if I can touch his horns, he said he'd rather not. So I touched them anyway, and he tried to bite me.

A Board Note from the She's Geeky vlogging session. It tells about a converter for windows systems that for free will convert a .WMV into QuickTime.

I decided to get a tattoo ages ago and, since my interests (read 'manias') have changed over the years I wanted a tattoo that represent a bit of everything.

I didn't get it all in there but I'm very pleased how it turned out.

I got this from the Night Kitchen in Mount Airy. Tasted great, and it turned out pretty darn well. All of the geeks at the party (myself included) where examining it to see if it was structured correctly. It was ;)

A new cross-stitch by my wife now adorns my office wall. She made this by creating a pattern from a photo of another cross-stitch someone had done. It's from the pixilated intro to the UK sitcom "The IT Crowd". I love this (and my wife for making this for me)! Shown here along with another one she made for me - penguins!

Got together for some Game of Thrones action w/ the guys on Sunday.

One of these days I'll be able to pull out a win as Lannister. Today I'm (kinda) happy to have had a strong showing for 3/4 of the game.

There was a lot more, I'm sure. I know Ellie was reading Christopher Hitchen's God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything, and Justus & Laura seemed to be reading all the time.

Here is most of the gadget hardware I carry around on a daily basis. Two things not in the frame: My ipod because I forgot to take it out of my coat, and my camera, and if you can't figure out why the camera is missing I'm not gonna tell you.
