It's finally happened: Somebody bought me something off my Amazon Wishlist!
To celebrate here's a few shots of me wearing my new gift: TARDIS knee socks (yes, I'm a geek.) Why not take a look at the wishlist and see if there's anything you want to see me in? You could be treated to photos like this.

I'm just geeking out on my patio playing my DSi, which is one of my Top 10 Back-to School Gadgets. Read more.
I don't know, he looked more geeky than cuddly and cute somehow. Maybe I am taking anthropomorphism too far.....
A new cross-stitch by my wife now adorns my office wall. She made this by creating a pattern from a photo of another cross-stitch someone had done. It's from the pixilated intro to the UK sitcom "The IT Crowd". I love this (and my wife for making this for me)! Closeup detail.

Ok, I know it's like super geeky, but I've finally got round to wiring up some servos I've had for about 3 years so I can control their position by sending serial commands over USB from a computer.
I said it was geeky :p Someone out there besides me must know how cool this is though ;)

Ok, I refuse to even make one of those insipid ID Badges, but I will sport this bad boy around town. Most everyone knows what a tag cloud and/or metadata is by now and if they don't, well, their loss. Also, it's damn convenient that I tag all my photos with my name and New York New York, making those the largest tags. Ha, actually, I plan ahead. Since I first joined flickr I had the thought that the tag cloud would make a great t-shirt, and it does. It really does. Really easy to make too.
Not shown:
The front has my profile widget printed across the chest. Not as thrilling to me as the tag cloud, or as readable.

and the backs of two of these shirts - www.flickr.com/photos/pfctdayelise/5173083031/
Only 3 (maybe 4) of these are men's cut. In a giant not-coincidence, they are also the shirts I wear while exercising or bumming around the house, as opposed to when I go out.
Women geeks, including fat women geeks, like nice t-shirts too!
