He was a fellow photog, and a fellow nerd. I honestly don't know who is nerdier. I played Dungeons and Dragons back in the day (was Dungeon Master) and still play Magic the Gathering online (sold my paper card collection for around 3K to help pay for the D3 back in 2007).

 

He definitely looks the part. Really nice guy though. Maybe one day he'll marry a maid cafe goddess.

Infrared Photography

 

Playing around with Infrared mode. The results are greatly enhanced when using a Tiffen Neutral Density filter.

 

A longer then normal exposure time was need to gather enough light.
