One of several test shots I took for geeky Pin-Up project. My favorite in terms of facial expression.
"The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work... when you go to church... when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. "
-Morpheus quote, from The Matrix.

I bought an iPod Shuffle today. 4 gigs. This thing is TINY. It's a stick of gum sized.
I had some trouble enabling VoiceOver. The solution was as I'd installed iTunes on D: not C: - so I had to manually copy C:\Program Files\iTunes\iPodVoiceOver.dll to D:\Program Files\iTunes\iPodVoiceOver.dll. It then worked like a dream.
Smart playlists have been set up to choose a random set of songs to play (with secondary playlists which allow me to choose just a particular subset).
Is good - though I can see that not everyone will 'get' smart playlists from the documentation supplied. Other than these hiccoughs, now sorted, it is very good. Though I'm scared of losing the thing!
This is my picture for the 25th March, 2009
I decided to get a tattoo ages ago and, since my interests (read 'manias') have changed over the years I wanted a tattoo that represent a bit of everything.
I didn't get it all in there but I'm very pleased how it turned out.
Fact:
I like science and I like beards (on guys that is). Mustaches are alright too.
:)
And what's nerdier, I stole those goggles from where I work...
the Museum of Science and History.
(i conduct various science experiments for patrons out on the floor)
I wore them for a static electricity experiment and when I was done, well..
I just didn't take them off.

The URL on the sticker is for a now-defunct (I think) team of people who built a robot car for a DARPA contest in 2005. Since DARPA does military stuff, it's not really my cup of tea - I prefer the small-scale hobbyist geekery like Robot Sumo, but the big high-dollar robot cars are very impressive.
Managed to find something cute for her to wear in my pullip clothes. Absolutely HAD to get her out of all that red. I really like this look and it works well but not quite right.
