...and fuzzy fun with Nik Silver Efex Pro for b&w adjustments. It's "structure" slider helped bring out the texture of the lichen.
HFF!
This was the first pair of fuzzy Uber I've made. I cut up a sweater dress of mine and one of my husbands shirts (shhhhh dont tell him!). They are a prize for the winner of my "100 Fans on Facebook" contest! You can be a fan too, www.facebook.com.baybeegeeshop
Gimped* it a little to make it all warm and fuzzy. Did few things to make the details come out,... here let me tell you exactly what.
1. made a copy of the background layer
2. desaturated it, then inverted it, then blurred it
3. made that layer "overlay" which brings out the details
but i dont know why, this gives me a depressing feeling.
*Gimp - Gnu image manipulation program . its open source, so you don't pay for it.
My travel grabs from a cloudy autumn weekend in Berlin, Germany, where I wanted to visit the 1936 Olympia Stadion and pick up on my sensibility of colours and shapes in a very graphic city. See the entire album [link]
This is a fuzzy lamp that represents rhythm because of its repetitive colour and line of both light and sparkle.
There were bunches of these guys roaming around the park. We kept stopping the car to rescue them from the road and put them safely in the grass.
About 2 inches long, found in Northern New Jersey, Sussex County. Anyone know what this is?
We have ID: the Banded Wooly Bear, [Isabella tiger moth], Arctiidae, Pyrrharctia isabella
I don't care what you think, I'm impressed that I'm able to take such a good side shot of my own leg. One must be flexible to do such things, I maintain.
Pattern: Fuzzy Feet, from Knitty.
Yarn: a discontinued wool (Shetland & Wool?) from Patons, which I had made into a shawl that I wore for a good three years before realizing it was way too itchy to be a shawl. Needless to say, in three years, I've long since lost the label (I was young and stupid and didn't save it). I used less than one skein, under 220 yards.
Needles: US #10.5 Clover bamboo DPNs
Time to complete: about four days. I did the first in two days. I cast on and completed the second over the course of a single viewing of "Fried Green Tomatoes." Felted them today while doing my laundry.
Mods: I didn't do the slip-stitches over the heel flap. It seemed pointless, since these never go into shoes.
I love this pattern. Fast, easy, and stash-bustingly fantastic.
Pictured drying on my feet with not one, but TWO pairs of socks.
It was a birthday cocktail party, and guests were asked to dress nicely, or to dress like a drink. I chose to Krazy glue some fabric to my belly.
Today the prompt is fuzzy, so I added a couple pussy willows to the floral arrangement

Fuzzy Jenkins is my most successful character design ever. Here is what you need to know:
1. He is a lion/lion man
2. He has a glove puppet which he uses to fool people (most people cannot see Fuzzy, just the puppet)
3. He is extremely naughty, but he cannot help it
4. He has no respect for people's personal space
5. Fuzzy's glove puppet is called "Chocky" and talks in a high, piping voice very different to Fuzzy's own.
