My "whatever" shot for our little challenge group- Day 7 of our 1-week-only-by-popular-demand group! :) I was shooting out along our dock and saw this tenacious little guy, climbing up, down, falling off, climging up again! Amazing!

When you come to the end, just hang on! :)

" Sweet flowers are slow and weeds make haste."

~~William Shakespeare

I don't know the name of this weed, but I let it grow in my garden to see what the

bloom would look like.. It grew to be 5 ft tall and then I pulled it up.

The flower head reminds me of a dandelion.

A cute little girl in my neighborhood enjoys a summer evening with her fuzzy pink slippers, fuzzy pink purse, and a good book.

Fuzzy Landscape.

This is a very underexposed analog film frame from 35mm Foma 400. I just got it wrong. Still, I find the picture not so bad. Interesting how little detail you really need to get a sense of the place (maybe only if you know it?) Makes you think about all the more technical things and what is important and what isn't.

Week 9

November 5 - 11, 2012

Winter hit with quite a force this week. Between the sudden change in season, and a cantankerous furnace, fuzzy socks are my go-to for coziness.

Have no idea what this thing is. Unfortunately this was the best photo I got as after this shot it jumped into the foliage. In Kibale National Park, Uganda

Caterpillar on block wall~~looks like he's got tiny branches stuck to his body. Took a bit to figure out but I believe its a buck moth caterpillar.

My friend Patty and I spent almost 3 hours wandering about at Kensington Prairie Farm which breeds and raises Huacaya alpacas. They also raise registered Polled Hereford cattle and produce honey. Beside alpacas and beef, there are also Llamas, Pot-bellied pigs, rabbits, numerous varieties of chickens and beautiful gardens. There is also an on-farm Boutique where they sell such things as Canadian alpaca products and honey. (21-08-21-3409)
