Here's a fresh from the garden bolt to wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July holiday! ;-)))
Image Notes: mere moments after this was taken we were inundated with one heck of a hail storm. This was taken in the same vicinity as my previous post with a slightly different angle and after the sunset light had ended. This bolt was really close!
An eastbound BNSF freight passes the old searchlight signals at mile 14.5 on UP’s Moffat Tunnel Subdivision west of Leyden on April 20, 2003. The grass is greening up on this spring morning, but snow still coats the majestic mountains to the west.
