This started out as a completely different idea for an artillery frame and sort of evolved into this super-heavy monstrosity you see now. Somewhere, there was a line. Clearly, I have crossed it.
It's too big to ever field in MF0, but it's similar enough to other Ijad frames that I suppose it COULD exist in the setting. If it's not appropriate for the group, I'll remove it.

I found a roll of film in my luggage which I shot last year with an Olympus Pen D half frame camera
of the 60s. I'm liking how the prints turned out, but I did get a call from the lab tech asking if it was ok to print two shots on one 4 x 6 print :D I thrifted the compact Olympus for $4 and am looking forward to some summer diptych fun.

Spring of 1986 me finks as the book containing all the lovely details from this period exited left years ago...
Not the best angle and framing at all for this but the circumstances were not my fault - what's more rare than an ALX300 in service these days? An East Lancs Kinetic. New to, I believe, Stagecoach Western, this body-on-chassis combination is a very rare combination seemingly built exclusively for the Scottish Stagecoach fleets, some of them, though, soon being dispersed around the country - such as this one, having gone through West to East Scotland to Yorkshire and to the North East when this photo was taken. Note that one of this batch, 22507, burned down in a fuel leak in 2013 in Perth.
Seen here having travelled far from its initial home of Stagecoach Western, Stagecoach North East's 22511, a 2006 MAN 18.220LF East Lancs Kinetic, is seen here heading down Grainger Street with the Grey's Monument in the background. I do have a closer photo, however there is a bin with cigarette stubs right in the centre of frame.
This cute little frame was handmade by me using polymer clay over a little wooden frame. It will hold a 2.5" x 3.5" photo. It is actually the perfect size for an ACEO! The entire frame measures 4" x 5" and includes glass.
I've covered the entire frame in brown Fimo polymer clay and added texture. It was baked to cure the clay and then painted with acrylic and metallic paints. It features little puppy themed trinkets such as a fire hydrant, dog house, t-bone steak, spiked collar, rolled up newspaper, paw prints and bones of all shapes and sizes.

Camera mounted on tripod and aimed at a very slight angle to stay out of frame. Pre-focus, fire on self-timer, use live view to check positioning.
Strobist info: SB800 above and to camera left, 17mm grid, aimed into ceiling, -1 stop.
I included a few framed tessellations in a recent art fair. This is one of the pieces I included - a variation of the waterbomb base. Not sure if there is a specific name....? Hard to photograph, colors are a bit off, but they look really nice framed.

Energy is an important aspect to our society and this photo taken at Yorktown Beach frames the refinery, along with some other photography elements. As the sun creeps up on the distant horizon, the representation of energy is framed in the center. I attempted to capture framing, repetition and vanishing point.
