Here is a closer view of the first 6 frames. At this point, the frame at each lap has been piloted and a copper nail driven through into a rove. The cylindrical metal tool seen here is used to buck the nail and rove on the inside of the boat while the nail is hammered on the outside.

Clipping the nails and peening will come later.

Looking at the finished frames (forward view). Eric will cut the ends of the frames running into the stern post to prevent a water gap. When the centerboard case is ready to be installed, Eric will make the final cuts to the frames running into the centerboard case, using the case as a guide.

When the frame positions look good, we mark the positions at each lap and at the sheer, then pilot for the frame fastening at each lap.

From a slide processed in May 1969 we have Frames Brand new Leyland Leopard HNK147G operating a Charles Rickards Tour (but empty) somewhere in Europe thought to be Paris. The coach has Plaxton C51F bodywork and was new that month.

My knowledge of European number plates even on MG's is zero so help please with the country.

Here's a straight-on shot of our new over the bed artwork. The frames are just from Target, but they look custom, which is really nice (they're a dark wood if you can't tell from the picture). The picture is one from our honeymoon that Ross split into three different sections. Then we framed each to make a dramatic panoramic shot.
