This is the corner table at my parents' house. My mom doesn't take pictures at all, but she sure does love picture frames...especailly little pewter ones.
From a slide processed in May 1969 we have Frames Brand new Leyland Leopard HNK147G operating a Charles Rickards Tour (but empty) somewhere in Europe thought to be Paris. The coach has Plaxton C51F bodywork and was new that month.
My knowledge of European number plates even on MG's is zero so help please with the country.

Meanwhile, three others were framed though the field scan doesn't look good so I'll try a darkroom print on Monday.
Canon EOS 550D with Tamron 17-50mm f:/2,8. Panorama merged in Photoshop CS5 from 7 frames (21 handheld shots at f:/8 1/160s, 1/320s and 1/640s @19mm). Processed to HDR in Photomatix Pro.
Último sábado de julio… Los campos de trigo recién cosechados y la oportunidad perfecta (un trigal a pie de carretera, con ruedas en lugar de balas de heno, con una distribución más o menos “armónica”, unas montañas en el fondo y unas cuantas nubes) para tomar una panorámica que siempre he tenido en la cabeza. Sólo faltaba el detalle de Asier subido encima de una de estas ruedas y ya tenía cuanto quería para crear un “trigorama” en condiciones. Cabe destacar la riqueza de lugares visitables en los alrededores de este lugar: icnitas (huellas de dinosaurios fosilizadas), varias muestras del románico catalán, unos bunkers republicanos de la Guerra Civil… y todo amenizado por el canto de las cigarras.
Last Saturday of July… The wheat fields have been already harvested, so I had the perfect opportunity (a wheat field aside the road, with round rolls instead of square bales, with an “harmonic” distribution, some mountains in the background and some clouds in the sky) to shoot a pano I had always had in my head. With the final touch of my son Asier riding one of these rolls, the “wheat-orama” was ready. If you ever get to this place, you can also visit some ichnites (fossilized dinosaurs’ footsteps), some samples of the Catalan Romanesque, some Republican bunkers built during the Spanish Civil War… and the soundtrack of the singing cicadas.
