Handheld in-camera focus stack of 15 pictures

my first attempt at stacking (using Zerene) - I am impressed with the program's ability to merge the 10 photos together, given that they were taken handheld with a strong breeze and poor light. I think this could be the way forward for my macro attempts...

You've seen many pictures of dandelions, this is my version. I'm a strobist and i love playing with photoshop. So this is a focusstack from 7 single images, combined in Photoshop CC. The final look is given with Nik Color Efex Pro.

Strobist Info: Yongnuo Speedlite YN-565 EX II with a Rogue Flashbender from the right and a little above. Canon Speedlite 430 EX II from left and behind. Triggerd with 2 Yongnuo YN-622C and a Yongnuo YN-622C-TX.

As a long time keeper of houseplants, I continually endeavor to provide ALL of the necessaries for my plants. This is a great success story for me, because of its lushness. My neighbor had the original of this plant in the hall between our 2 units in a North facing window. It did not do well, so after a year or so, I took a stem cutting. That was about 5 years ago or so, and this is how it has progressed with its twisted stem and all. Its current height is about 2 feet.

Thank you all for the Explore.

It's been so long since I've done any focus stacking, I had almost forgotten how to do it. Thank goodness it all came back to me.

7 images stacked.

An Hoverfly portrait.

After almost a whole year of taking no pictures (mostly due to laziness) I guess my "sabbatical" is about over. This is the first Morel that I've seen this year. Stack of 11 images.
