Pisaura mirabilis (Raft spider; Pisauridae) on the lookout. Found in a forest clearing near Valmiera (Latvia - 4th August 2024).

Our first daylily of the season — the first of the cultivars although the common orange ones have been blooming for a week already.

Not sure what these small fungi are - trying to research. The larger one was less than 1 cm in diameter. Stack of 8 images. Happy Fungi Friday!

 

The closest description I can find is that these may be the orange form of Ruby Elfcups. (Sarcoscypha coccinea var. aurantiaca).

 

After further review - these may be Sowerbyella rhenana fungi.

i think this is a mining bee but am not good with ID on them as there are so many that look quite similar, an ID would be appreciated, this was a 5 image stack, not perfect but passable, practice hopefully makes perfect
