funky butterfly or kato-esque pod gone wild?

A clean and simple card for our sneak peeks which start this week over at Market Street Stamps! MSS is releasing THREE new sets this Friday.

I used "So Happy" on my card today.

Wellington, North Island, New Zealand

With a ladybug as a bonus

A Male Orange Tip, basking in the may sun.

Northlands Park.

I had a hard time capturing one of these, they would not stay still.

And stopped to taste the flowers!

Flutter's new, improved, fixed hair!:)

Or is it a moth? Nope, it is a Small Copper. Thanks for the identification Jai :-)

So, I am supposed to be digging a new trench at my allotment when this little beauty fluttered past. I dashed off to grab my camera and followed it around three other plots before it decided to land for long enough for me to get a picture.

All this to cries from my wife of 'where are you going?'

:-)

It is a type of butterfly I have never seen before, any ideas as to what it is called?

A swallowtail butterfly at the butterfly observatory located in at my city zoo.

We spotted this ??? near the entrance to the Catherine Creek wild flowers area.

Port Fairy Pelagic. Victoria.

This butterfly was flying around me as I was taking pictures of daisies. It obviously wanted to have its picture taken.

A small skipper on a cornflower.

I wish it would have opened it's wings :)

These flags decorated the top of a cotton candy concession at a fair. Despite the anachronism they make me think of a medieval jousting tournament. I think I'll blame that on Hollywood.

Performance with Jennifer Mills

We took a little trip to the butterfly pavilion today. Lots of fun! Basically SOOC with some minor tweaks when converting from RAW.
