Bronzed beech leaves flutter in the morning mist and flutter they most certainly did as this was the only frame from a burst where the majority had no blur! Taken in Barnes's Grove, Buckinghamshire.

After the photos were taken I lifted the glass and she fluttered towards the flowers.

To me there is a sense of freedom and beauty in this very simple image. I loved watching the Gingko leaves fluttering like butterflies with each gust of wind . I wrote this haiku about them ....

Fluttering leaves,

yellow butterflies of love,

you lift up my heart.

I almost ignored this shot as although a wonderful misty morning there was enough breeze to move the leaves about causing some blur, but I'm just being picky now lol!

They are very delicate. I was hoping to go back for a sunset but I think they are probably already going over!

A colour photograph of a butterfly.

Normally if I get some blurry leaves in a shot I dismiss it and I had three shots of this little tree engulfed in foliage with the wonderful fence line running in the background and each one had leaf flutter! Pesky breeze! It was pretty dark under all that canopy and I was already running at ISO1600 and as you can see by the shutter speed there wasn't a lot of room to manoeuvre especially hand-held! Hooray for IBIS and a steady hand but still some movement. Anyway I thought I'm gonna post one of them as I love the shot!
