The "Flutter" live butterflies exhibit at Pearlridge, a Tweetup hosted by Melissa "Melissa808" Chang.
Butterfly in motion. I like how the blur came out--it looks like the butterfly is disturbing the atmosphere as it flutters its wings :) This was taken at the Butterfly Garden at Strong National Museum of Play (Rochester, NY). Prints of this photo are available here.
Saw some nice Lighting outside and decided to take some shots of the beautiful spring flowers and butterflies.
I didn't notice until I opened this photo in Photoshop that I captured this insect's wings in motion. :o)

Sugarberry is one of my favourite My Little Ponies, so I thought it would be perfect idea to spend my only flutter bait to her. I used Citadel and Folk Art acrylic paints to her body, and her hair is from Dollyhair.

Flutter is the sound these guys make when they find themselves trapped in a corner of ones thatch roof. Flutter goes on all night and no matter how hard one tries to find him he can not be detected, until the next morning when it is too late. The upside is that by this time he is so fatigued that he becomes extremely cooperative and makes an excellent photographic model. That his wings were not shredded given all the noise all night long is a mystery. He really is a beautiful subject. I enjoyed photographing him after which he was released into the undergrowth outside.
