The changing of the guard at Gyeongbokgung palace.

It's been a cold and dreary Spring so far, but we finally have had some sun, and these crocuses were reaching as far as they could to drink it up.

At 4-6cm long, Flutter-Ring is an elegant earring made with Kamoe-Clay beads from Germany, swaroski crystals, czech crystals, high quality cat's eyes beads, high quality acrylic butterflies, rhodium-plated ear hooks etc. This earring goes really well with jeans attire. I just love the way the little butterflies appear to flutter around the rings of crystals and beads, don't you?

Robert Browning quotes:

“Your ghost will walk, you lover of trees

(If our loves remain)

In an English lane,

By a cornfield-side a-flutter with poppies.”

“There, that is our secret: go to sleep! You will wake, and remember, and understand.”

“How sad and bad and mad it was -

But then, how it was sweet!”

Story behind this one.

I was using the on-camera flash on my D60 to backlight some shots on a roll of Velvia 50 that I was shooting for a spatial art piece. When I went to look at the DSLR, I found this waiting for me.
