...you make my heart
Love is like gambling… literally. You never know how it’s going turn out. Whether you’ll end up winning, losing, or breaking even. But think of it this way: if you bet big, you win big. But there’s also a chance that you might end up losing big and that’s exactly how love is. The more you love a person, the bigger the reward but it’s also a bigger heartbreak. The more time you invest in a mate, the more difficult it is to leave. But if you bet little, the rewards are also little. You can’t expect a person to lay it all on the line when you’ve only known them for a month.
The reason love is a gamble is because you never know the result until you stop playing. When you are gambling (whether it’s blackjack, poker, slots) you never know if you lost money until you decide to stop playing. It’s the same way with love. You never know if it’s going to be a huge heartbreak, mutual break up with no tears, or even marriage until it’s the end.
When you are in love, you should know how lucky you are. It’s the greatest feeling in the world when you are in love with someone who loves you back. It’s one of the greatest highs a human being can feel.
When you lose someone you love, it’s one of the worst feelings in the world. It’s one of the lowest feelings a human being can feel. In this time, you need the right harmony of alone time mixed with time with friends.
In the end, I believe everything happens for a reason. If you are meant to marry the person you date, that’s great. If you break up with someone, you were meant to learn something from it. Breakups happens for so many reasons that you can’t ever put a finger on what went wrong. But no matter how bad it gets, keep a smile on your face and know that life is always meant to be great at the end. Like I said, you never know the result until you stop playing! - Mike Kim
Sorry for spamming this doll again, but I've had these wings floating around my desktop since spring, and while cleaning I finally put them on the necklace.

This one was not easy to capture. I spotted the Red Admiral butterfly sitting on the blooms of a lilac bush while taking some landscape shots with my wide-angle lens attached.
Changing the lenses there and then would give the butterfly time to fly off and I already formed the idea for a wide shot with the blooms included in it. I slowly crept towards the butterfly until my lens was only few centimeters away from it. Thankfully, it was so occupied with the sweet nectar provided by the blooms, that it didn't mind me taking the picture at all in the end!
One leaf of this maple tree was in rapid motion having caught a bit of a breeze.
In medicine, flutter also refers to a rapid irregular heart beat that is associated with the cardiac arrhythmia called Atrial Fibrillation. 1 in 4 people will eventually come down with this potentially life threatening condition.
Just a thought while walking in the woods and not trying to think of work.
